I have noticed that there is a little bit of a sync issue when I have my keyboard & mouse setup along with dual monitor adapter plugged it. The keyboard and mouse seem to timeout at times. Not sure if this is really related to the product or other sync issues. But something to make note in case others are seeing this issue.

Perhaps it's not designed for such. Even though it's powered with an adapter, it doesn't interface with my computer. Can't really use it. I'll keep trying, but I wouldn't recommend it. I'll just end up getting another computer with more powerful USB connections. It was a shot in the dark to save from buying another computer.

Great add on when you run out of USB ports.

I have their Kiyo webcam, speakers, keyboard, animated mousepad, mouse, and their headphones. Each of these devices require a USB on top of the external HDD and additional cables to hook up my tablet and phone to. Some would run out of USB ports rather quickly and this device helps out immensely and I still have a couple left over due to it having 7.

I have two USB 3 cables next to the hub that connect to my Mac and the other to my PC. I plug on system at a time into the hub to share my USB 3 devices: Corsair Gaming Keyboard (requires USB 3 for power or else I have to connect two USB cables) Wacom Tablet Printer (mostly because the Mac is on a VPN and cannot access the printer via the network at home) mouse
