Great adaptor. Uses USB and has USB on it so you do not lose a USB slot. Works great!!

Installed it on windows 8 machine. Works perfect. Great way to get multiple monitors.

I have a newer tablet pc and I also have older accessories. This adapter allows me to hook everything up at one time. I had an older projector (vga), a camera (usb) and my modem (ethernet) all hooked up at the same time to this one adapter. It worked flawlessly.

This is a great product. It works well. I have had no issues with it.

I am a KJ at a local tavern and I use an HP Pavilion 23 All in One touchscreen computer and 19 inch monitor on the table for the singer to look at (now I forgo the 19 inch monitor and use a 60 inch HDTV with a wireless adapter). This computer does not have a video out (VGA or HDMI) port. With the j5 create-USB 3.0 Multi-Adapter, I was able to connect the monitor via the PC out on a projector so the audience can sing along or see the videos that I play between rotations. This device is an awesome secondary display adapter (and because I can connect my external HDD to the 3.0 USB interface and I use a wired internet connection via the built in ethernet adapter, it makes it all the better). It does take some tweaking to get the desired output, but it is easy to figure out if you know how to extend a destop.

So far a great device. Using it for a few screen I have.

Using this to make a single plug and play connection on my Surface. So with it I can plug in hard Cat-5 and take advantage of my 1Gigabit switch, run the monitor (VGA not HDMI) and preserve the USB 3.0 capability. Haven't really tested the latter. But so far so good. Biggest draw for me was preserving the USB 3 ( and not 2!) while acting as a Cat-5 adapter for the LAN. no problems with the associated software/drivers on Win 8.1

Does what it needs to do. Not plug and play though. You have to install software on your system before you can use it, so you can't just take it from one system to the next.

This product is good if you want to have extra ports like usb, lan port but it is too pricey

Picked this up so I could use my larger monitor in one office when remoting to laptop in at another location. Has been great as it allows me to use my Surface screen and desktop screen separately.

Very easy and affordable product. I needed and adapter for my macbook pro that allowed me to have a hardwired ethernet port without giving up my usb port. Perfect solution.

Slow install, but works great when complete. Utilizes processor instead of video card so the chip/ram combo must be strong enough to support.

A bit pricy, but a good product with multiple features. …I actually went back and bought a second one. One for home and one for the road.

I needed an external monitor for my MacBook Pro, but there was no VGA input needed for my existing monitor. This adaptor allowed me to use the USB input to connect my VGA monitor. It was the perfect solution. Works perfectly! Highly recommended.
