    I bought this to use my laptop with an old projector. This is a perfect device. I dont have a CD drive but it was easy to download the drivers and it had a pretty simple installation process.

    Plug into your laptop's USB port & you're good to go. Only quibble is tightly-spaced ports on the device make it tricky to remove any individual memory stick in the middle but most of the time I just leave them in so it's not often an issue.

    Lacking a USB cable, I bought this adapter so I could download pictures from my Nikon D3100 to a memory chip and then load them to my PC. Also, I don't have to take the camera to the local photo processor to have the pictures removed for processing, I just take the chip.

    This is a must for anyone who has a lot a stuff to hook up all the time. Before, I had to plug in each item, now, I just plug in this one USB and I am set. Works great. I have had no problems with it.
