The camera does have an integrated microphone (however it will not work with some applications on ChromeOS). If you are having trouble getting the microphone to work please contact the j5create customer service team for assistance. Assistance can be provided by phone, email, and live chat. Was going to replace my laptop altogether cause frontfacing camera is pretty bad now and with all the recent Zoom sessions lately i figured itd make sense to get something new, but its really just the camera that was bad, but then got this webcam as a temp and the clarity is so awesome on my old laptop i decided i didn't have to buy a bew laptop anymore. :)

Easy to hookup and great quality

We bought several for our employees. I just sent them out and they plugged them in and started working. I was impressed with the quality for the price as well. The microphone picks up pretty good also. I put one on a TV in a small conference room, and the people on the other end are able to see and hear them fairly clearly. I could have spent much more and not come out much better.
