Stopped working almost 1 year after purchase

It's been nice to be able to plug in accessories since the newer Macbooks don't allow for that. However, 2 days short of my having this for 1 year, the docking hub stopped working. This was $130, on sale, when I bought it; for that price, I expect it to work for longer than a year. It does have a 2 year warranty, so I'm getting ready to start the cumbersome process of getting it replaced, but I wish that weren't necessary. I would recommend this simply because I haven't found anything else quite like it on the market, but I'm very disappointed that it stopped working.

The JCT425 is covered under a manufacturer's 2 year warranty and we would be glad to exchange it for you. It is possible the host cable may be defective or the hub is no longer functioning as intended. Perfect for those online meetings

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not sure if this is actually worth $100+ given that it's just a wooden stand with a small USB 3.0 hub with an HDMI connection too. At first, it worked perfectly, all the USB hubs worked, including the charging port, and the HDMI connection worked perfectly too. But after maybe 3 days, it started to malfunction, had connection issues, and my laptop kept detecting the device, but not enough to know what it is or read any information from anything plugged in. It could possibly be a problem with the hub itself or maybe the USB-C cord that came with this, but either way, I'm probably going to return it in the future if this issue starts to happen more often since it has these issues every now and then.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Chromebook and needed to work from home, connecting my previously-purchased 4k monitor with HDMI, while also connecting a USB-C webcam and ensuring I had USB-C power for my computer. The hub looked perfect for the task, and the monitor stand that it comes with looks great. The problem was that the hub has a bug that causes interference with heavy display tasks, like videos and online/Zoom-type meetings. I had to reduce resolution on the external monitor to stop the jittering/blanking, shifting behavior. If you're not using a high resolution monitor, this will be a fine product.

I made it possible to create an ergonomic area in a small office space while giving me flexibility within the newly created space. I love it! It is very aesthetically pleasing but practical and in my office, it is an excellent addition to my work design area.

Sleek and Sturdy Monitor Stand

The outputs are finicky and do not always work, but I did not purchase this stand for the outputs. Overall very satisfied with the sleek look and function of the monitor stand. FYI you have to put it together yourself, but it's super easy.
