This is one of those headsets that is the evolution to almost perfection for Jabra. Looks good, light weight, fit is amazing, battery life is more then great, plus there is a portable charger that docks the headset as well. The touch side is great and this headset works very with suglasses or glasses. You need to cradle it to turn it off or turn off bluetooth otherwise you will pocket dial someone if you dont have the headset in the ear. Music is loud and clear, range is good. Overall this is one of the best you can buy in 2016, for business and professional looks as well. Very discret.

I've been using the eclipse for a couple days now mainly for phone calls and listening to audiobooks. The fit is good. I've been able to use it in both ears without worry that it would fall out. Sound quality has been great for calling others, listening to music and audiobooks. I was impressed with the smooth transition it makes answering the phone when the book is playing. The Bluetooth reception range hasn't been an issue. One really nice feature is that it comes with a portable little charging station so it can charge on the go. While I like the sleek look and size of the unit (which prompted the purchase) I find it annoying that I can't pause the audio with the press of a button like my previous headset could. Yet this annoyance is tempered when I remember how comfortable and light it is. Another annoying feature is the way it states the remaining battery life every time the unit is jostled. The only real problem I have is that the charge only lasts me 3 hours of continual audiobook listening.

I have tried many of the top rated headsets including several Jawbones and my last one the Plantronics voyager edge. The voyager did not seal in the ear like this Jabra. The sound and stay-in-place quality was not as good. This Jabra is better in sound, actual usable features, and noise cancellation. And once you pick the right size earbud piece, it stays in. I own a tree service and I have climbed trees and worked from the bucket with this in. I love it. The only feature I originally considered to be negative was the lack of an on/off button on the earpiece. It will go into sleep mode but it will turn on for a call while sitting on the counter unless you put it in the cradle to shut it off. It took a little getting used to but once it became habit to put it in the cradle and take them together whenever I'm not wearing it, I now prefer it that way. It ensures that it is safe and has a full charge when I'm ready to use it. I love the lack of buttons that had a tendency to get dirt filled on all other earpieces I have owned. The touch sensitive areas instead of buttons are the way to go in my opinion. All in all, I love it!

Very light and easy to put in ear. I was kind of fooled with the package description saying up to 7 hours talk time. When fully charged, the automated voice prompt tells you 3 hours battery .once I read the fine print i saw where the case is a charger that can charge up to 2 times. That's where they get the longer talk time. I use this thing every day. In really noise you areas with the volume up high it can be hard to hear, but people on the other end hear my very good.

Not a bad earpiece. Pros - good fit, comfortable, has a charging dock that retains charge and charges unit fairly quickly, auto stand by mode, good noise canceling. Cons - insivible button on it, hard to locate. you're out of luck if you lose charging dock since actual earpiece doesn't have any charging ports. cannot walk too far from phone/bluetooth source - loses connection fairly easily. overall - cons outweigh pro's for me personally but not a bad choice overall.

I have gone through several Bluetooths. My favorite is the Bose Mobile Headset, which I had lost and went to the store to replace it. They didn't have any more in stock, so I purchased the Jabra Ecplise. Pros: lightweight, small (not a big annoying headset), charger keeps it secured well and charges quickly Cons: range is terrible you cant go too far before signal gets choppy, battery life is only 3hrs the promised 10hrs is from the charger which holds an additional 7hrs when your carrying around with you, headset can get uncomfortable when your wearing it for long periods Overall its a good Bluetooth but not the best one I have ever had

The headset is great.. Low profile, light, stays in ear well.. Quality of sound is really good.. Only down side is there is no way to turn it off without putting it in the charger.

I really loved the fit, it actually fit nice and stayed in my ear. It did a good job of blocking background noise, stayed connected better than the Plantronics models too. I just couldn't accept the short battery life. The short battery life was enhanced by not being able to plug it directly into a power cord. It would only charge with it's charging base. Love everything else but couldn't live with the short battery and limited charging capabilities.

I tried 3 or 4 different variations before sticking with this one. The touch sensitivity is frustrating at first, but it seems to almost "wear in" and after a while it works perfectly fine. I do wish it were a bit louder when I'm in a noisy environment like my shop, but it seals so well in my ear that I can still hear clearly over my loud truck when in the car. Sometimes I forget that I'm still wearing it because it's so small and fits so comfortably, and people think I'm talking to myself because they don't even notice it. I dont have any complaints on the battery life, just make sure you don't lose the cradle, and keep in on hand in case you need the extra charge. The auto answer feature upon taking it out of the cradle is great, I can have it charging and if I get a call I just take it off the cradle and it switches to the headset immediately. It's not perfect, but it has the best combination of features for the price. I've even had 2 people buy it after seeing mine and both have thanked me for the recomendation!

I bought the Eclipse after another earbud did not work. It has very nice sound and works well with my iPhone. It does fall out of my ear a bit quickly, particularly if I am walking around. It also looses charge over time and you have to plug the whole thing in after a couple of days just to bring it back to full charge. However, the sound is excellent and it works well with Siri. It also is a great size to carry around in your pocket.

    Jabra Bluetooth headset

I've been using Bluetooth headsets for years now. This one is by far the most comfortable, I think due to the angle of it. The sound is very clear for both parties while using this headset. The noise cancelling is excellent. However, there are no external buttons on this headset so you can not physically turn it off. The charging cradle is specific to this item. A neat feature is the charging cradle can be charged separately and then place the headset in the cradle and it can recharge the headset, without being plugged in. For the most part, I really like this headset. Unfortunately, with the lack of an on/off switch, I do not like that I can't turn it off for overnight or when it's not in use.

(Edit: I would recommend this to a friend, but I would make sure they clearly understood the potential problem with the included earpieces.) I am blown away by the clarity of sound from this little guy. The smallest quality Bluetooth I've ever used. I'm an audiophile and I don't expect the bass range to be clear on small devices but this one surprised me pleasantly. Nothing like headphones, but still real nice for a small Bluetooth. Crystal clear audio and microphone during calls, but the no button set up can be a little touchy (pun not intended). My only real complaint is it only comes with three earpieces so you better hope one fits real well. I wish it came with more earpieces to try to get that perfect fit- there are no around-the-ear pieces so if the fit isn't right, you'll be constantly pushing it back into place. Still, one of the best bluetooths I've tried and while I wouldn't buy it again (for the earpiece problem I have), I can't argue with the quality of everything else.

When I lost my Jabra headset, i did quite a bit of research before purchasing this piece. This has been one of the most comfortable ear pieces I've ever worn, and the sound quality has been exceptional. I wouldn't listen to music with it, but it's perfect for driving and talking. I drive a truck with big exhaust and this is usually loud enough. It's only a little quiet when I'm driving faster than I should on the freeway. The only part that's a little difficult to get used to is tapping to call, but you learn easily enough. It's also a little odd to keep it in the case when not in use, but it seems to work for me. Makes travel simple. The piece stays securely in place without worrying. After one month of use and travel, I'd happily purchase this again.

This Bluetooth is very light and simple to pair. The charging case extends the battery life a full 3hrs. It is very wind resistant and clear sounding. Only negative is that it sometimes disconnects from the phone.

This is my 2nd Jabra. Having started back with the original noise cancelling version with the "gem" indented frame, I moved on to the Moto brand for better battery life and clearer call quality. My Mot Whisper 2 just gave up the ghost, so I decided to give the new Jabra line another shot. Here's the summary: Good fit options, and I like not having the plastic hook that goes behind the ear. Great sound during calls, and background noise is minimized. The "tap to use" feature is a bit frustrating, and taps aren't always recognized, especially during calls when you have to tap to mute. You can only turn the headset off by placing it back in the charging cradle, which isn't the most convenient to always carry around. 3 hours MAX battery life, I've found that to mostly be in standby mode. Once the calls get going, its usually about 1-1.5 useful hours before it has to go back to the cradle.
