These earbuds are very good for the price! Make sure you download the app with them. They are extremely flat once you try them without the app. Once using the app you can customize your sound stage and they sound amazing! They stay in your ear perfectly fine and are comfortable to wear!

I love these headphones. Had a pair of original BlueBud X that I used for years. I tried a pair of Powerbeats 2 and ended up returning them the next day for these. Couldnt be happier. I'm not a big fan of the charging adapter but it works. The fit, sound, and overall quality are great for me.

Really great earbuds. Good sound, an app that has a ton of audio options. The proprietary charger is a bit annoying but shouldn't be an issue unless you lose it.

These Jabybird are among my tops best, but 2nd only to pwrbts 3, only due to battery. Sound quality is great, equal. Love how these can stay in ur ears two ways Quality well made, only other issue is diff charger but extremely small & nit picking. Great set.

These earphones are great! Let me be very clear about that. I really like them. However, they are so good at blocking out external noise as I run that I don’t hear possible hazards around me, like an approaching car from behind, or a bicyclist, or a faster runner. This has made me realize two things: One one hand, I enjoy the awesome sound during my runs and it actually motivates me to perform a little better. On the other hand, the noise blocking has also caused me to be very aware of my surroundings every time I need to diverge from my path. Now I’m almost hyper aware of looking over my shoulder before I make a sharp turn off of my running path, or before I cross the street, or even before I turn my head to spit. So, like I said in my description, these earphones are great, and you might find it easy to get lost in the sound, but be aware of your surroundings otherwise you could hurt yourself and/or hurt others, or be hurt by others.

the jaybirds are a comfortable headphone that doesn't slip when working out. The sound quality is good. I've tried the beats wireless and these fit me better and are more comfortable.

Nice sound quality (good bass and volume). Foam ear buds do very well in keeping headphones in ear. Haven't tried the rubber buds yet but believe they will fit nicely as well.

Really good headphones. Great sound. They stay in place under pretty strenuous conditions. They still come in clear a fair distance from your device. I turn the tunes on, on my phone, then fire up the lawn mower and can mow a 3/4 acre yard connected the whole time.

After trying many buds I saw the positive reviews on this item. I like them and recommend them. I use them whole riding my motorcycle without a helmet and there is no fear of them falling out. The app allows me to change the eq for either riding or indoors quickly and easily. A+

A product that gets worse as it's updated

I come to this review as an owner of the original Jaybirds. I lost my original pair and I bought these since I had such a good experience with the originals. Unfortunately, these headphones seem to be a case study of how a product can actually get worse as they release new versions of the same model. First, the good: The sound quality is pretty good for a pair of bluetooth earbuds, and the app allows you to customize your equalizer settings to your taste. The battery life is fine (though I think it's a little shorter than the originals, but I haven't been able to test that for certain). The sweat proofing is amazing. My first pair of bluetooth earbuds was not waterproof at all and they ended up shorting out and dying soon after I got them when using them for exercise. Now, the bad: first, they've abandoned the mini USB charging port of the original for a proprietary charger (one of the things that led me to buy the original in the first place). I have collected dozens of mini USB chargers over the years, so I didn't have to worry about keeping track of a special charging connector, which was especially convenient because I could easily use the charger in my car for multiple devices. Second, and this is the problem that is the most egregious to me, is that the earbud tips (though they give you both foam and rubber ones in multiple sizes) are not held on by anything on the bud itself, so they fall off constantly and are easily lost when pulling them out of a pocket or a bag. They only sell the accessory kit online, and while it's $10 for the whole set of replacement pieces, they want $6 on top of it for shipping! I don't think I'd buy this product again, and probably won't go back to Jaybird in future unless they address these problems. I don't like to spend this much money on a device and have to worry about losing so many vital pieces. If you can find a pair of the original Jaybirds floating around, I'd recommend you snap them up before they're gone for good.

I was surprised to find that I have a hard time fitting in my ears after watching and reading comments on how well they fit. This may just be because of my ear. For the sound and the noise isolation of the earphones I find it to be a bit disappointed. At the gym all I could ear is the music in my background, this is also due to not fitting my ear. The sound was good with bass overall if I were to hold the earphone but due to walk/running I can't. It was not loud enough even at volume 100. I guess everyone fits differently.

I absolutely love these headphones, the bass is perfect and they get LOUD. I also love that there's an app to customize the sound EXACTLY how you want it. These make my workouts 100x better due to the sound quality. 10/10 would recommend and even bought a pair for my girlfriend.

I purchased the X3 headphones because the price was worth not getting the newest version and the difference wasn’t worth paying a lot more. Very nice headphones.

Excellent quality headphones. Sound clarity is great. Sound is crisp and clear. I looked at several other pairs such as the Plantronics Backbeat Fit, but opted for the in ear noise reducing Jaybird X3's instead because of style, fit, quality, & function. You won't be disappointed.

After going through two pairs of PowerBeats2 and a Jabra sport wireless headset, all three of which stopped working within two weeks of purchase, I was very skeptical and almost went back to wired headphones. However, the Jaybird3 has been reasonable. Cons: Finding the right fit is tricky and it changes if you sweat; Every once in a while, particularly when sweating a lot, the left bud stops working BUT it has never been a permanent stoppage. When it's time for my next workout, it's working fine. Pros: I've used them now for two months and they are working well; The software lets you personalize the levels which I found very nice.
