Its ok. More of a basic sound bar for a small room.
If you want big sound this isn't it. Its slick since you cant take the speakers off but for 900 to 1200 bucks. Not worth it!

Read and follow directions, disable your VPN if you have one, and anticipate critical steps like connecting to power, removing / replacing auxiliary speakers, pressing multiple buttons at once and daily use. Setup is detailed, but it works.

For a soundbar and sub combo it was good. It didn’t have an option to change frequencies or adjust the sub bass without the sound bar base so when the bass is up it muddies the clarity. My wife and kids loved it, but for $900 I returned it.. then went and spent big money on a full theater instead.

I recently bought an LG C4 77" TV and, while the picture is incredible, the sound was underwhelming—especially in my larger room (14' from couch to screen). I was looking at the LG 3.1 system to stay under $1000, but the store rep warned that it might not be enough for my space. He showed me the JBL Bar 500 and 1000, and after hearing the 1000, I was sold.
The JBL Bar 1000 sounded amazing—loud when I wanted it, crystal clear dialogue, and deep bass. The rep also mentioned you can fine-tune the sound through both an EQ system or room calibration using the remote or iOS app, which is a huge plus. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I’m seriously blown away and very happy.
The setup was super easy—literally just take it out of the box, hook it up to the TV, and you’re good to go. I had it up and running in minutes.
What really surprised me, though, was the detachable, wireless rear speakers. These are battery-operated, so you can place them anywhere you like, calibrate the sound to your room, and they just work. They last about 10 hours per charge and recharge easily by magnetically snapping them back onto the soundbar.
The subwoofer comes with the system, and it’s wireless too! I hid it behind the couch, and it blends in perfectly. It really brings the bass to life, adding another layer of depth to the sound.
I’ve had a wired Bose system before, and the JBL easily rivals it in sound quality, without the installation hassle. I connected it via HDMI eARC to the TV, and everything works perfectly. As an avid music fan, I love that I can stream music from my phone via AirPlay and even sync it with my Sonos speaker in the kitchen for seamless sound throughout my first floor.
I’ll admit I was a little skeptical about going with JBL over LG, but I’m so happy I did. This system offers fantastic sound at a much lower cost than other high-end options. If you’re on the fence, just pull the trigger—highly recommend!

My dog love it, he gets confused with the 3D sound, he runs to the front door barking, i have to open the door so he can check no one is out there, if not... he just keep barking at it.
