Has great sound and worth the amount it cost. I am very pleased with my sound bar.

Mainly bought for the truly wireless detachable speakers. Love thgat part. Voice enhancement on this helps but it could be better. Pretty impressive system with a Dolby Atmos action movie.

I would like to say I love the sound bar but it only worked correctly for one day! My bigger complaint is Best Buy won’t stand buy the product because it is 5 days outside their “return/exchange” policy!

I had an early version of this soundbar but this one is much better. It has a remote in which you can lower the bass so you can hear voices more clearly.

I wanted like this so badly. The subwoofer is fantastic. The concept of detachable rear speakers is great. But, one or the rears constantly disconnects while watching movies, and a glance at reddit confirms that this is a common problem. Sad to say these are going back.

Amazing sound. Removable speakers can be plugged in for permanent positioning. The only downside is that many of the features have to be accessed through a mobile device app.

The JBL BAR1000MK2 looks great on paper with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and detachable surround speakers. Setup was easy, and the wireless rear speakers are a convenient idea.
However, the sound quality didn’t meet my expectations for a system at this price. Music lacked warmth and clarity, and the overall sound felt flat even after adjusting settings. The biggest letdown was the bass—it could get loud but lacked depth and punch, especially during movies and bass-heavy music.
Surround effects were decent, but Atmos height effects were subtle and not very immersive in a normal living room. In the end, I returned it because the audio performance didn’t feel like a meaningful upgrade over cheaper options.
This may work for someone prioritizing convenience, but I’d recommend auditioning it first if sound quality and bass matter to you.
