I love this portable speaker!! I mean, it gets so loud and clears he sound is clear. I have no complaints & it's perfect for drowning out noisy people lol

My teenage granddaughter was really ecstatic when she opened this gift last Christmas - she never left home without it because she and her friends always use it whenever they have a chance.

JBL Flip 2 is an all around nice unit. Feels sturdy and sounds great. Used it as a tailgate unit at the race track. My only wish is that it had a little more low end. But that can be made up with the setting on my player.

Great Speaker, AWESOME sound, GREAT PRICE!!! I wanted this so that I could bluetooth from my iPhone and it has been great! I also take it to work with me. Love the portability!

These speakers are amazing!! no wires, no mess, and the sound that comes out of them is just incredible. I highly recommend them. It is a great buy for the money.

Prior to purchasing the JBL Flip 2, I was hesitant about spending money on a wireless, bluetooth speaker at all. I bought some random, off-brand speaker a while back, and it was horrible. It wouldn't stay connected, and when it did, the sound quality was very poor, with a constant static/buzz-type noise. So I was hesitant to spend money on another bluetooth speaker... I did though, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The Flip 2 is a very compact speaker, but it sounds 10 times bigger than it looks. It can be turned up really loud, and the sound quality doesn't suffer at all. It doesn't have bass that knocks pictures off the walls like a 15" subwoofer, but the bass does sound great, and is very impressive considering the size of the speaker. I've used this speaker quite a bit since I bought it, and NOT ONCE has the connection dropped or had any problems at all. And the Flip 2 is easy to take along wherever you go with it's small size and nice, sturdy little case to carry it in. Overall, this speaker has exceeded every expectation I had for it by a HUGE margin. A+

these speakers are so loud, that if you're a college student living in dorms or apartments, look no further for a quality sound system that wil liven up the party. these speakers are pretty loud for size and they pack bass for it as well. the only downfall is that the battery life is pretty short. but fortunately it includes and AC adapter (most only come with a USB cord) and a case for the speakers in case you want to take it with you. battery life hasn't been an issue for me and with the AC adapter it makes it all that much easier.

I bought this speaker based on previous review and I must say that I been impressed with the sound quality and overall sound for this speaker. I could have bought a more expensive unit however the combination of feature and price is very difficult to beat. Now I wish the unit could last longer than 5 hours on a single charge however even if you had 10 hours you will forget to charge as you will continue to hear the music on this unit. Operation was without any issues BT worked right from opening the box, I have it connected to my iPhone and rMBP so it does play nice with my stuff.

Very pleased with this product. Went on a limb and bought the JBL Flip 2 because it was on sale, and I also had reward points to use. I was pleased with the sound quality. Great mid range and clear highs and lows. Not your bass heavy Beats-like speakers. But for a better price, and better all around quality I would pick the JBL Flip over it. It comes with a nice carrying case as well. The design for vertical and horizontal positioning is nice too! The phone capability was very nice as well! I think the speaker itself might have a microphone, because I did not have to be near my phone to speak. I was assuming that it was much like speaker, and only audio would come through the speaker. But perhaps it picks up audio as well. Only gripe I would even have, if that, would be the battery life. I get a good 4-5 hours of music playing. Other than that I'd recommend this product for someone looking for a compact portable speaker.

Easy to connect, the sound is really good. Better price than the pill and the volume is greater. Just love it. Do recommend.

Although not the best at anything, compromises are well judged. Good overall balance in terms of treble detail, bass, and loudness without distortion. I bought a few other portable bluetooth speakers to compare and this was the most satisfying. Its fairly portable and easy to use. Can be place horizontally and vertically in tight spots. My only complaint is battery life is no where near advertised. I also liked the BOSE color and mini for sound but they were kinda too large to tote around.

Am impressed with the sound from this speaker and it has more than enough volume for listening in my apartment or anywhere else I go. The sound lacks a little base but not enough to downgrade my rating. I like that it can be charged with my phone charger so I don't have to take multiple cables when I travel. Very easy to connect to any Bluetooth device. Have not tried the speakerphone function. Friends and family who have heard it are equally impressed with this little speaker.

JBL created a nice speaker. I was surprised at how loud this little speaker got. It is very portable and small. The bass frequency is even and good enough for dancing.

My fiancé wanted this speaker as a Christmas gift and, now that he has it, I can see why he selected the product. Being slightly larger than a soda can, the design is both lightweight and extremely portable (particularly for camping trips that we want to take it on). The sound quality is crisp and for being so small, the volume it is capable of putting out is impressive. For being under $100 the value is definitely there as far as portable speakers go.

My son purchased this speaker to play music while he played basketball with friends. The speaker sound is great and is light enough to place in a backpack for transport. He would reccommend this to anyone looking for a small speaker at an affordable price. He's tried other brands of equal price and the sound is not as good and he returned them. Now come in more colors, however the red looks more of a dark pink shade out of the box.

this little cylinder speaker is a surprisingly efficient powerhouse of very decent sound quality...I use it in my apt. in NYC and it delivers crisp high notes and pretty good bass...my rooms are small (200 sq. ft. average) so the sound carries throughout so I don't need to move the speaker around a great deal, even though it's a wi-fi device.

I wanted a small portable speaker I could use to listen to music streamed from my phone. I also didn't want to spend more than $100. This JBL has good sound quality and is compact and easily portable. I also like the speaker-phone capability. The downside is the battery life is typically less than 5 hours total, so it needs to be recharged frequently. Also, the round design makes it difficult to place on anything but a flat, stable surface. Overall, it meets my needs, but has some limitations for someone that's looking for more versatility.

The first time I saw this speaker was when I was at a street festival an evening in Geneva IL. I was drawn to the incredible sound of music I was hearing turned up really high from a store front. As I got closer I looked to see where that great sound was coming from. I was astonished that it was coming from this small JBL wireless speaker hidden amongst some flower pots. I remember I took a picture of it so I could look it up. Of course that was an even older model than the one I got. This one has better base and sounds richer. The volume turned up high is even too high for in home listening so it is great for outdoor listening as well. I compared this JBL Flip 2 with other brands. Beats Audio ones sounded too tinny and the Sony ones sounded like AM radio and other brands didn't even compare. I am very glad I could find and purchase this speaker. Deep slow jazz and classical music as well as rock, etc. sound incredible on this speaker. I play the songs off Pandora on my phone and the two pair immediately. Fantastic pre Christmas gift to myself:)
