first thing, no apps to control it so if you lose the remote you either buy another one for $50 or you throw the bar away. as a whole a very difficult piece of equipment to use. the lag from a remote command to something actually happening you can take a nap with. you cant pair it to the TV since you need the TV screen to respond to the request(the problem with no app) overall, the sound is acceptable but its just too much work to use the unit. it doesnt automatically switch between your external device and the tv. you have to manually activate it each time through the remote. a big concern if you lose the remote sometimes it will respond to your voice and others not. when it does it has a long lag. would not recommend it

Overall I like it. Android tv can be a little laggy on this. But totally useable.

Good product but it’s not for a big room good for a bedroom.

Excellent sound bar and at this price point it was a no brainier. However, I had to return it because we wanted to get a 5 channel sound bar instead.

I replace an LG sound bar with the JBL and what a difference this sound bar is amazing great sound even without the subwoofer. The one thing I do not like is the google smart feature kinda of usless. I would deffinitly recomend this sound bar can't go wrong with JBL.

Missing functionality is now present. Able to include in Google Home speaker group now. YouTubeTV app occasionally freezes. Other than that, I am totally pleased with this technology product purchase.

I put this JBL Sound bar in the bedroom and it is prefect

Okay, first allow me to start by saying that I am coming from a Denon and JBL 5.1 sound system. Wanted to minimize my living room sound system. Mission accomplished! This little sound bar and pairing it with the wireless sub was a great choice!

Google assistant is a bit sluggish and no amazon prime app

Excellent sound bar...especially when it is on sale-AND comes with the subwoofer, at the SAME price!! Do yourself a favor and buy an “upgraded” HDMI cable, PLUS an audio cable for a CLEARER and better quality sound experience.

I was expecting a more user friendly sound bar since it has google options built it but it’s difficult to set up with other google speakers and at times disconnects from speaker group for no reason. I got it on sale so... meh. You live you learn.

My network is a google mesh and I have Google Nests all over the house. I have a Sony Bravia TV with Android TV...so I am familliar with how Android TV and the Google Assistant should work. I expected that the sound bar would have enhanced sound and it would allow me to customize my environment and work smoothly with myxfinity cable box and tv. This was unfortunately too much to ask of JBL for $400. The sound was, OK, but there were very limited settings for managing the sound. The volumes between TV/Video and the Google Assistant are extreme...the Google assistant is so loud that everytime it interupts it scares the fuzzy critters in my house. Here is the kicker and why I ultimately am returning this...VERY simple desire...turn on the TV and watch it with a single press of a button. I have had multiple sound bars and stereos over time and they all allowed a passthrough or would stay on the last input you had selected...not this sound bar. When you power on the TV, it automatically starts at the ANdroid TV menu. To watch TV it was 4 presses...power, hdmi, hdmi1, select. There are no settings to change this so no way around the inconvenience. My wife, who is technologically challenged...would never allow this. So, back in teh box the sound bar went and it goes back to teh store tomorrow.

This bar has a great sound by it self but the 10 inch subwoofer it came with really helps it stand out. The only problem is connection issues when trying to access apps. Best set for internet connection is with ethernet cord.

Best buy rerouted an obvious return to me in the hope I wouldn't notice the defect. The hdmi cable that came with the unit was from a Tv. These units have an arc port issue that is known by the manufacturer and best buy. I would not recommend buying. The actual unit sounded great when it worked, which unfortunately was rarely. It's been returned to the manufacturer now b/c I missed the best buy return window. Deal with Best buy at your own risk. I hope they go out of business personally.

Bought the sound bar to pair with the tv in the garage. But I just realized how good the sound is when you pair it to a sub woofer. Also Google is super fluid and fast responding.

Sound bar is defective. We purchased a sound bar with a special subwoofer sub woofer included. We could not share the Bluetooth for the sound bar to my husbands phone. We went into the store and we were informed it was defective and we needed to return it with the subwoofer. He brought both items back to the store as requested. We now have to wait about a month to have the shipment complete for both items. This is really not acceptable. My review is one star.

Looked for a sound bar for a bit for my bedroom and new tv. We own a jbl Bluetooth speaker which works great! So trusted this brand already . Very crisp , loud sound !!!!

I love big sound, but didn't think it was necessary for a bedroom. The deal we got on this with the subwoofer was too good to pass up. Best value for your money!
