The JBL MA710 is the second receiver I have set up on the home, JBL has gone with a much simpler style to the front panel with some accenting style that goes with the speakers in the same series of product. The reciever supports eARC which allows you to plug the one HDMI cable to your television and output audio and video using the one cable, it's also works with my remotes power to adjust the audio levels. Chromecast is built in to the receiver and I was able to connect using my google home app with no issues. The 3 8K ports are HDMI 2.1 while the 3 4K are HDMI 2.0, it's great that HDMI 2.1 is offered as anything that you want to use with a higher refresh rate or even VRR will require this. I plugged both of my current gen consoles into these and use the others for any older consoles I plug in. The receiver also features a Phono input which I love, I moved my record player from my previous receiver to this one. I plugged the receiver in to my network and it automatically pulled updated software. Everything I feel has been plug and play in my experience, it was all very easy and I feel with the simple front panel and remote that JBL may be trying to release a product that doesn't feel over complicated and easy for anyone looking to get into home audio without feeling overwhelmed by the receiver. I appreciate the smaller receiver and the dimmable display, the accent of orange and the "safe to turn beyond 11" make this a welcome addition to my gaming space.

Has a sounding punch! With the right speakers it’s really worth the money. Not much development either the app, all you can do is turn it on and off. You can listen to the internet turner with the app. It’s not a pioneer elite that has a better app. I got this while it was on sale for the holidays. I can’t see paying full price for it ! Not much technology built in it. It will do for now.

This is an awesome product and not to mention a classic touch with the appearance. I have a variety of speakers that I have used with this amp as I love to switch my equipment around. Anything from vintage cerwin vegas to modern klipsch speakers this thing handles it all without breaking a sweat.

Very very good quality sound comes out of this unit seems like it’s a step up from similar units from at least pioneer Denon, etc. plenty of power just enough inputs great phono preamp nice size. Really nice feeling controls with a minimum of buttons, but it gives you the really useful ones without having to figure out a bunch of them. Does have a couple negatives seems to get a bit hotter than I thought it would so we added a temp controlled fan that sits on top. Rather quirky set up routine using an app and your iPhone for the EQ room acoustic set up.

The JBL MA-710 is a great-sounding receiver that exceeded my expectations. It delivers clear, powerful audio and supports all the surround sound features I was looking for—perfect for a home theater setup. Setting it up using the EZset EQ app wasn’t too complicated. Just a heads-up: this is a different app from the JBL Premium Audio app, so make sure you’re downloading the right one. Once I got the correct app, the setup process was smooth and relatively straightforward. Bluetooth connectivity works great, and the overall performance has been excellent. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend the MA-710 to anyone looking for a reliable, feature-packed AV receiver.

I set the JBL MA710 receiver up with the JBL 245C center speaker and the JBL Stage 2 250B bookshelf speakers and have been very happy. I wanted something affordable but that would also provide better sound and flexibility than a soundbar and this family of products fit the bill perfectly. I’m using the rear surrounds, sub and ceiling speaker (set as Atmos) that I already had and after calibration have been very pleased. I’m not an audiophile by any means but for my purposes this setup sounds great!

This is a receiver that’s doing what I expect a receiver to do. I’ve had two others and just to get to listening volume I had to turn it up to 60. If I turn this one up to 60 it will blast me out of the house. It was extremely easy to hookup and connect with my tv. I can operate it with my tv remote without any hassle. I’ve only had it for a week but it’s an instant difference in quality.

Purchased MA710 along with 77" Samsung OLED. eARC works great. Receiver has good power and all Audio and Video codecs needed for great sound and picture. More powerful and up to date than previous Denon AVR-X1500H. HDMI 2.1 makes this receiver good for the future. Very happy with purchase. Also called JBL tech support with questions and they responded quickly with answers I needed.

JBL receiver was easy to install and connect to all the speakers. We like that it comes on when the TV turns on, so we only have to keep track of one remote. The bluetooth capability is a nice feature so we are able to listen to music from the streaming service on our cells

Wow is my first description. I’ve had Denon, Yamaha, Sony. Etc receivers in the near and distant past. This is the best I’ve ever had. The intelligibility of of speech is the best I’ve heard and everything else is right on point. And, the white look is extremely cool. What else can I say. It’s fantastic to my ears.

Superior replacement for my Onkyo receiver ( never buying Onkyo again, display burned out and cost to repair over $600). I like how minimal and compact this receiver is. Powers SVS prime bookshelf/satellites very well. Clear/loud/great sound. I have no experience with higher end audio equipment so I wouldn't know how this compares but I am super happy with this item, it is perfect for my use.

I bought this for the low profile so it would fit in media cabinet with center speaker; TV is 4K but this will do 8K . The user interface is straightforward. Only have center and front bookshelf speakers and sub which sound fine. Works well for aesthetics. Will also play music bluetooth in, but next level receiver is needed if you want bluetooth out.

After using Onkyo receivers for over 15 years, I decided to try this JBL MA710. So far, I am simply amazed. The sound is very crisp, clean and punchy! The Dolby Atmos sounds great. I love using Neutral:X which sounds great! Now there are a few issues that I have reached out to JBL's technical support and they suggested I hold on for a while because since it's a newer product, they will be sending out OTA updates to fix certain issues. One ongoing issue is a sound fluctuation on OTA TV. The sound starts normal and then dips and goes back to normal. It's weird, but I have brought it JBL's attention... so, they're aware of it. A few other issues have been fixed by a few automatic firmware updates. All in all, this is a solid receiver which I am very happy with!
