Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 came with my purchase of the laptop. It seems to be stopping stuff from coming through. I like it enough that I ordered another copy for when this subscription ends. As added security, I installed MalwareBytes on the laptop. That's a great product.

Have been using Kaspersky exclusively now for 6-7 years and have yet to have a single issue with an installation, upgrade or the apps performance. It has blocked anything that has ever been thrown at it flawlessly and runs seamlessly with Windows 7 thru 10 which is a stark contrast to my experiences with Norton. The new renewal options make this a no brainer as I was able to get 2 years of subscription for 3 PC's for $80.

I was not familiar with KAPERSKY until I was lucky enough to use it for free. Regardless, I have been using it for months now & I have to say that I am quite impressed with its reliability & ease of use. Much like other trusted brands, Kapersky too, has all the functions & utilizations that they do BUT the biggest difference is on the Cost. Although Kaspersky isn't a Popular Household Product, I believe that the results you get is The Most Important of all & with application for all types of devices this is The Best Buy Hands Down!

Wouldn't load

Out of the box, the product would load on a Win 10 machine. Kaspersky was not up to speed for Win 10. Geek Squad sent me a link about a week later and that version did load. I have been running Kaspersky for several years under a large network system and it is not capable of running under the Win 10 or the network system yet, leaving many systems without the ability to upgrade to the most current Server Versions or lan machines upgrading to Win 10. Otherwise, they will not have protection. Very poor planning for a major antivirus company. I hope that the lan admins remember this when the contract is up. Since my machine is not connected directly to the lan, I can run what is available, but also have AVS loaded as a precaution. A total waste of money in my opinion.

One small problem may not be Kaspersky's fault

My Google Chrome icon on my laptop stopped working after about a month. I tried to fix it myself (big mistake) and ended up taking it to Best Buy to wipe and reload. I don't know if it was a virus that Kaspersky should have caught or not. May have been a software issue. No big deal.

Have had Kaspersky for about ten years. My computer keeps sending messages that Kaspersky is not fully protecting my data. I will call Geek Squad (big fan of them!). Geek Squad yearly membership is great -- have recommended this to at least three friends who have signed up for it!

For last 5+ years I have never used any Antivirus at all and I never had to, even on Windows XP, 7 or 8. I feel Windows 8.1 and 10 dont need Antivirus and if they do, Windows Defender is enough. Apart from that Kaspersky provided me good Internet security and blocked many sites though it is annoying a little. Many times while opening any banking website or financial transaction it shows Secure browser message because of which my transaction session would expire and I have to do the transaction all over again. Although it is good, if you have Windows 8.1 / 10 and windows defender, it is enough. ANd possibly dont be a fool and open any malicious website (especially ones which claim to give thousands of dollar because some king from Africa wants to give you!)

I've had this installed a couple weeks now. I forgot to install it the day I got the laptop. I wanted to but I had another Internet security on it. So I waited til it was needed. But it runs great it saves things in my browser privately like passwords, card info, etc. and i can tell when it is protecting because it lets me know and I can see the logo in my internet page. I love it because it doesn't hide itself. It reminds me that I'm protected and when something isn't good to download or a page isn't good to visit. Very professional.

I'm sure it works as great as everyone says, as far as securing your computer/browsing/email, because it hits snags all the time, at least for me. And, I don't "explore", or peruse questionable web sites. Just paying bills on-line makes me want to uninstall it because it repeatedly tries to block my credit card website. I do like the idea of a "Safe Browser", which it gives you the option of using or not, but I can't seem to get it to trust ME on certain sites. Might be ideal for someone who has a lot of patience, or doesn't make a real effort protecting their own information, but it's frustrating for me.

recommended by local Best Buy store employee's. So far no problems, except a couple. Called HP customer service about one problem and was recommended to McAfee. He claims Windows 10 or maybe HP was better when using McAfee, which was loaded already for 30 days free.

I have used Norton in the past and was content with it. Was told by the BestBuy associate that Kapersky is better than Norton. Thus far, I have not seen much of a difference. Kapersky does what I need it to. Hopefully, there will be no issues when the free trial expires.

I had to have my laptop in to the Geek Squad for a virus that was a pain. The geek squad fixed it and it almost works like new. Plus I like the secure page when having to pay bills online. It is great. No problems yet and I have to say it may be better than Norton 360.

I certainly wouldn't have paid for this, so I'm glad it came free with my laptop. Definitely has its quirks, but once you navigate around them, its alright. I will not be renewing my subscription though, there are soooooo many free options out there that do the same job.

This product came free with the purchase of a MacPro laptop so the price was right. It was very easy to install and can be used on up to 3 devices. As for the performance so far it is fine but with a security product you really don't know unless something goes wrong.

Have only had a few weeks with Kapersky on my HP laptop but seems to be working well. A big positive is it isn't bogging down my computer like some previous suites I've used do. Plenty of online sites to research the effectiveness but I like what I've seen so far.

This anti-virus software is awesome! It's compatible with Mac and windows. Also your able to use it on up to three computers. That's pretty sweet so it is definitely worth your money. Plus it's always better to be safe than sorry. It's also easily to install as well.

I purchased Kaspersky in the past, it has been one of the best Internet Security yet. I received WebRoot with my purchase of a computer so I haven't installed the Kaspersky but I think I might uninstall the Webroot and use Kaspersky since Webroot is not that great.

I am an IT staff member and have been using Kaspersky Internet Security for many many years. It has helped me protect my computers from various attacks, when friends have been attacked using other software packages. The HDD footprint of Kaspersky IS is much smaller than other products. The resource footprint is very neglible also. My pc's do not slow down when it is running scans. It does not slow down my system bootups. It works very well with online gaming programs. I will not stop using Kaspersky Internet Security.

Home computer seems to be working fine. Just don't like the pop up that seems to stay on the screen without an option to remove it, unless you restart the computer. Other than that, seems to be ok. Installed it on 2 other devices as well. It's a great added value!

I chose this antivirus software with my geek squad protection plan because the gentleman helping me said it was his favorite. They were all the same price individually and didn't cost extra with my plan so I went with it. I love it and am happy I chose that one. Whenever I open any website that has to do with money (banking, my credit cards, PayPal), it prompts me to instead open it in a protected view browser. I don't get dozens of pop-ups to update it either, which is important to me! I recommend for sure!
