Dont like that it doesnt have apple play. Other than that its an alright in dash unit. But its kind of confusing to find your way around the menus. Also not very many settings to adjust or personalize it.

So far I am pleased with my new stereo. Install went great and the price was right.

The installer was very personable and through. He was a please to deal with.

Kim would certainly makes great car audio products but I bought this expressly for the use of the Waze navigation. It no longer is supported by Kenwood

I initially bought this telling the Sales 'Pro' that we wanted CarPlay. Well, after the install, guess what??? NO CARPLAY. I think the Sales 'Pro' needs to reassess his Pro-ness.

Overall this is a very good unit. The HD radio sounds great, iPod playback is good. Have only tried the DVD for a few mins but what I saw I liked. I had a back up camera installed with this unit and it's a great addition. I purchased this unit based a lot on the promise of Weblink. Don't make the same mistake. There are only a few 'apps' that work. Only one of which is truly useful and that's WAZE. The rest are fluff. I'm not 100% sure I like the WAZE integration. It seems that when I turn off the screen on my phone it stops on the unit. I'll go with user error for the time being on that. Further on the software... Kenwood has two apps you can download to work with the unit. Again the Weblink app is fairly useless for anything but connecting WAZE. I have not tried the remote control with my iPod yet, but it does look promising. Overall I'm not dissatisfied with the unit. But Kenwood's approach to try and reinvent the wheel with their software apps is a major disappointment. I'm a little jealous of the pioneer avh 1330nex I purchased at the same time for my daughters car and it's apple car-play ability. So, for lackluster integration with the mobile phone I don't recommend it with the current software set up.

This kenwood unit is just great so far nice look great sound.

OVERALL THE RADIO PERFORMS. SOFTWARE IS NOT SO GREAT.THE SOUND QUALITY IS PHENOMENAL! CRANKS CRISP AND CLEAN. THE ONE THING I CAN'T STAND THAT MIGHT FORCE ME TO RETURN THE RADIO AND GET A DIFFERENT ONE IS, THE LAGG WHEN YOU MAKE A SELECTION.IT PAUSES FOR A FEW SECONDS BEFORE TAKING THE COMMAND AND THE RIDICULOUS BOOT UP TIME IS ANOTHER PROBLEM. YOU HAVE TO WAIT LIKE 20 SECONDS BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN USE YOUR RADIO. AND ALSO, SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO LEAVE WHATEVER INPUT YOU WERE USING LAST WHEN YOU START IT BACK UP AND GO BACK INTO IT. LIKE THE USB OR DVD BECAUSE IT SITS THERE READING AND JUST STAYS ON THE READING SCREEN. YOU WOULD THINK FOR $350 THEY WOULD MAKE SURE THE PROCESSOR OR RAM WOULD BE ENOUGH TO NOT HAVE THESE ISSUES. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS WITH KENWOOD.AND I DO LOVE KENWOOD AND PIONEER. THOSE ARE MY 2 2 GO 2.
