I was surprised at the build quality of this thing. It is small enough to fit nicely on the side wall of the trunk, has a nice array of tuning options, and can be bridged. Sounds great.

Bought this amp to replace a Rockford Fosgate amp that was powering my door speakers. This amp sounds great and has plenty of power but it does get extremely hot. I would make sure you've got good ventilation wherever you mount this amp.

This Kenwood amp is perfect for my door speakers in an 07 Ram. I'm matching it to 50 watt rms Kenwood 6.5 coaxials. The class D technology, small footprint and the fact that I only needed an 8 awg wire made the install a breeze.

Open box was not "Excellent"

This review isn't about the product itself, which I'm sure if new would have been just fine. Instead, this is about the condition of the Open Box buy. This open box purchase was marked as Excellent and just missing documentation. The Best Buy outer box had good padding, but the product box had no padding inside and the amp was flopping around the box. The amp was also scratched everywhere, as if heavily used, and smelled of electrical. I didn't even bother trying to and power it on. My guess is someone damaged it and returned it, but BB didn't do a very good job of making sure it was in "excellent" condition. Had to make a trip to the local BB to return it and buy a new unit of a different brand given the limited inventory they had on hand.

a good overall amp for the price. Has basic adjustability of the channels. I was replacing an amp that went bad so all wiring was already ran. My biggest complaint would be the lack of instructions to install. A link to a video would be highly recommended.

Havent had it running long but so far i am happy with it. It does get a little warm but no issues yet. A little fan may or may not help if intalled but the music does sound clear and was an easy install with its size. Dont have a competition system just upgrading my 2018 tundra system and am happy with this purchase

Nice amp. Plenty of power for 2 component sets. I bought 2 of them when they went on sale for 129.99 was a steal. Very clean ample sound.

I run these amps and their mono counterpart in all of my vehicles for the last since 2018, with a combination of Kenwood, Rockford, Kicker and Power Acoustic speakers and subs. For the money you CAN NOT go wrong. They are extremely efficient and sound incredible. I would take one of these Kenwood's over a Kicker any day of the week.

I went to the Mobile Services area at the Buckhead Location, shoutout to Frank for making some things happen but I didn't want to buy an amp at first nor thought I needed but I trusted his expertise and he came through for me and haven't had any issues out of my speaker since then, only thing left now is a subwoofer...

ngl, this is pretty decent. You'd be pushing it by expecting a single speaker to work for dubstep, but my 10 12 10 rig is running moderate pre-amp gain with no clipping. the bass boost knob is stupid. it only pumps 60-120ish while the gain knob gives you a flatter, subby tone which is all the more reason to carry multiple speakers. Abuse the four outputs and know your cone sizes.
make sure you connect the remote wire to some positive terminal instead of looking for a dial. You can do this buy gutting a cig lighter in the back of your car and splicing the red wire. All this does is turns your amp on when the car is on and off when the car is off. your other option is no red light and no amp.

Bought this to replace my factory 2005 Jeep amp. Was recommended by installer because the original one I bought would not fit behind quarter panel or understand. This new one does fit behind quarter panel and plenty powerful. It is able to do more customazation which installer did.
