    My '67 Jag E-type ignition switch doesn't have an "accessory" position, so I connected the memory wire and the 12V wire together. Even with the radio off, this results in some additional battery drain than if the 12V wire were switched off with the switch. Because I rarely drive the car, I need to disconnect the battery or find a different ignition switch to avoid a dead battery. This problem is common on other memory radios that I have tried, so I still am giving it 5 stars.
