Best Buy did not list this as a Steam platform game, it's a Steam only operating system (OS). Wanted the standalone PC game not the Steam version, now, stuck with it. Overall, excellent game, so much to learn, it's a steep curve. Kebal does allow it to be played "offline" from Steam, just start Steam offline once you mess around opening an account and figuring out how to get it offline. Next issue, It's cheaper on Steam. ....Sigh.....

    DIY Space Program

I’ve been eyeing this game for years because of the small (but enthusiastic) fan base. Now that I’ve had a few months to sit down and get my hands deep into its cosmic crevasses, I think that the hype is completely justified. It delivers exactly what it says on the tin—a DIY space program simulator packed with humor and competent explanations of orbital mechanics. Trial and error is a large part of a successful mission here. But the satisfaction of reaching distant worlds is well worth the time invested. And with the massive mod community, your creations are only limited by your creativity. If you get excited by SpaceX, NASA, or ESA missions, this might be the perfect game for you.
