    The unit is damaged but the box is not, they knew it was before they shipped it

    For the price, it’s been great. It came with everything to install it and the directions were pretty good. However it does feel cheap. The plastics are not high quality, don’t for together easily and the only difference between the energy star model and the non energy star model is 2 clips to hold the bottom more securely to the window frame and a piece of foam on the bottom to insulate better. I was kind of disappointed. That being said, it has worked well. It keeps the room nice and cool and the energy save mode has been helpful. For the price, I am happy with it, but I had to stop at 4 stars because of the plastic issues.

    I bought this to be mounted on the window in case of future black out. Thus I only got to use it for a short while before storing it in the garage. In the short time we tried, I noticed it is not super heavy, making mounting and dismounting a reasonable job for someone in the mid-60s. Furthermore, it cooled the room quickly, and it did so by not making too much noise. The noise won't be a real issue once the generator is on. A good buy for the price!

    I had this item for a few weeks and so far it has performed just right. I use it to cool down my bedroom at night so I don't too much electricity cooling down my whole house and it works perfectly. It's not too noisey and cools in little time.
