Unfortunately just after two years it stopped working. I got an error code and it won’t work. I purchased the extended 5 year warranty, thankfully. I have had a tech at my house three times now and it’s still not working. Very frustrating after all the money it cost and the time I waited for it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not yet installed the Microwave. This review is evaluating KitchenAid personnel Product Knowledge. I spoke with no less then 3 KA representatives and each told me the unit contains a spacer kit. The kit would accommodate the opening of my previous KA microwave. It will not. SO in addition to spending $2,600 I also have to special order a $175 spacer. I did not have access to a manual when I order the oven but the one provided clearly states that a special spacer would be required. Evidently the product experts at KA were not trained to review the installation portion of the manual. I now know more than the product experts at KA..PS: Expect to be on hold for a life time.

It's also not very intuitive on how to use it. For the price and reputation, you'd expect more longevity and a better user manual.
