Best Dishwasher EVER

I originally bought this dishwasher for our second home. I loved it so much I got rid of
our perfectly good Bosch. Why? I have never had a dishwasher that loaded so many dishes so well! It has three racks and each is really functional, and the middle rack is height adjustable. Unbelievably good. My Bosch had a third rack, but it was so shallow you really couldn’t load anything except extra silverware in it. And this machine is so quiet that I have to really listen hard when I am right in front of it to notice that it is running. My dishes are always clean, though full disclosure, as a rule I am someone who rinses dishes. But when I have put in dishes with food still attached or an occasional glass casserole dish with baked on food, they always come out clean. My only criticism is that, like all appliances these days, it takes a long time to complete its cycle. So I usually run it after dinner when there is little chance of major dish use before it is done.

Dish washer has plenty of room for dirty dishes. Operation is quiet. Normal wash cycle is 2 hours and 40 minutes. Dishes come out clean. There is an express wash but I have not tried it yet.

The KitchenAid 24" Top Control Dishwasher is absolutely wonderful. It's whisper quiet, energy efficient and gets even the toughest baked on mess off of my dishes and pots. The convenient 3rd rack gives me the extra space I need for all my smaller delicate dish items and allows me to get all my dish chores done in record time. Pair that with an amazing price and you have a real winner of a product. Thanks Best Buy and KitchenAid.

The new Kitchen Aid dishwasher is very quiet, and easy to use. I wish the wash cycle were somewhat shorter, but the drying process is excellent. Tried the Quick Wash cycle and good good results. Still trying to fit the maximum number of dishes in the 2nd rack. My old Samsung seems to have held more plates and cups. Love the deep third rack for soup bowls, and utensils. There is plenty of room for silverware.

The KitchenAid 24" Dishwasher is an excellent addition to my kitchen! The 360 Max Jets clean everything thoroughly, and the 3rd rack adds so much extra space for utensils and small items. It’s super quiet at 44 dBA, so I can run it anytime without noise issues. The sleek stainless steel design looks amazing, and everything comes out spotless and dry. While it’s a bit pricey, it’s worth it for the performance and quality!

So Far So Good!

After looking at all the dishwashers available and reading many reviews, I decided I liked KitchenAid much more than the rest, mainly due to the really good, well thought out interior design, which is able to hold a lot of different dishes, bowls and pans. The top (3rd) rack is unique and much more usable than the other brands. Initially, I was unsure I would like or use that 3rd rack, but I've found that I like it a lot and it's very useful for all sorts of little things such as cooking utensils, prep cups, and the like. The 2nd rack can be raised or lowered as needed, but I tend to leave it at the high position all the time and that allows for larger plates or other tall things on the bottom level. I especially like the silverware holder design, which is much better than all the other brands I saw both in size and design. Bosch in particular had a weirdly small, cheap little silverware container.
The top controls aren't as extensive as some other brands, but it's fairly simple and has everything I need or want. No wi-fi like some models, but I couldn't care less about that. I've found I mostly use the normal cycle with all drying heat turned off, and it takes much less time (by about 55 minutes) and it saves electricity by letting dishes dry naturally. I always run my dishwasher in the evening, and by the next morning all the dishes are completely dry so no need at all for heat dry or the added time and expense of it. I would only use the heat if I needed things to dry quickly on the same day. I don't put really dirty dishes in the washer (I rinse fairly well first), but everything comes out sparkling clean. There is a delay wash option, which was one of my "musts" as I always run the dishwasher after 9 pm to save $$. When I load it up earlier I can set it to turn on after 9 and not worry about remembering to come back to turn it on like with my old washer. I love this particular feature!
The door is much more solid than other brands I looked at, and the racks slide in and out easily and much more smoothly than other brands. At 44dBA it's basically quiet enough that I don't really notice it running, although if I'm in the same room I am able to ever so slightly hear it if I really listen for it.
I preferred the looks of the model with the handle, but due to my kitchen configuration in which a drawer pulls out in front of the dishwasher door too closely, I had to get this flat pocket door type instead. I don't like the look of this door as well as the handle one, and oddly, this one has no KitchedAid logo on the front, so it gives a very sleek, plain look overall. The stainless steel front doesn't seem to pick up fingerprints easily, and I like that.
So far I'm pleased with everything, and I hope it has a long life. My previous dishwasher bit the dust after 13 years, but just to be on the safe side, I purchased a Best Buy 5 year extended warranty, which I felt was reasonably priced for some added security since dishwashers are said to have shorter lives these days. Best Buy delivery was pretty quick and efficient, installation was good and the guys were thorough and careful, so no complaints there.
So I'm giving 5 stars for what I've noted above, and I hope longevity will justify that rating!

This is the best dishwasher I’ve owned - it is quiet, cleans like a dream, and generally dries spotless even without a rinse aid. It fits large pans and mixing bowls when using the adjustable height feature, and I absolutely love the extra top rack space!

We’ve had this for over 5 months now and love it. As an asian I was raised to wash yourself and use dishwasher as a dryer. Use it here and there. So paying what we paid for this was ridiculous even on sale. However, Ive never owned or rented a place with a great dishwasher. First. It is so quiet I dont even know its on unless walking up to it. No more clang clang, woosh woosh, amd have to turn TV up from living room. 2nd it actually cleans! I thought the third rack was a sales gimmick but man its so useful. 3rd its nice to look and the extra price for the snall things that are better quality. Like the hinge to open and close. I bought a Maytag for about $200 less and much of it was similar but I see where that couple hundred makes a huge difference. Even installing in counter was easier for some reason.
My only negative Is normal wash is like 3 hours. Why so long!?!? All newer dishwashers now to be that long though. There is A mode for short wash which is 1:30 I think.
So we actually use more than normal because overall this is a great machine. I dont see my bills increasing so must be efficient. Whirlpool seema to be tge standard but Im willing to buy a Kitchen-aide fridge now which is my next purchase!

I really like my new KitchenAid dishwasher. The 3rd rack really adds to its features. It’s very quiet and does an amazing job. The only downside for me is the normal cycle does take over two and a half hours. The express cycle does do the job in just over an hour. This is my second kitchenaid dishwasher the first one lasted for twenty years. I highly recommend this brand.

LOVE our new Kitchenaid dishwasher !!
PROS:
Quiet....never thought a dishwasher could be THIS QUIET !!!
CLEANS very well
LOVE the 3rd rack. Fits normal size coffee cups on one side and various utensils on the other. And still plenty of room on 2nd shelf Other dishwashers with the 3rd rack are useless, except utensils.
LOOKS VERY SLEEK
EXCELLENT fingerprint resistance on front....REALLY IS FINGERPRINT RESISTANT !!!
CONS:
Only complaint I have is the silverware holder with the top piece on for spacing. That top piece has weird size slots for placing silverware. My old Kitchenaid dishwasher had the same idea...but slots were all same size and fit silverware better and honesty MORE SLOTS.
It is pricey...but we feel it was worth it.
Our old kitchenaid dishwasher lasted 17 years....hopefully this one will come close.

We bought this to replace a 25 year old Maytag dishwasher.
I love how quite this runs. I love the 3rd shelf for small items. Dishes are clean. We don't use the drying feature, but dishes are almost all dry just from the air circulation feature. would buy again.

I bought this KitchenAid after extensive research and glad I did. It replaced a Maytag that was over 30 years old. I am very pleased with everything and the third rack is a great benefit. The dishes are clean and what is most amazing is how quiet it is. I give it just 4 stars because I think the cycle times are lengthy compared to what I had before.

This is our second KitchenAid dishwasher. We updated years ago in our previous house and just updated in our new home because the older dishwasher that came with the home just wasn't cleaning the dishes and didn't hold very much. This dishwasher can be loaded with lots of dishes and does an excellent job cleaning them. The third rack is very useful for small items leaving room on second rack for larger bowls, cups, jars, and other items. It's also very quiet. Especially like the print shield finish which makes it easier to keep the exterior clean.

I've owned quite a few dishwashers in my life, but this one is definitely the best! It is so quiet that I found myself confirming I had started it in the first few weeks of use. This particular model has an actually useful third rack for not only knives, but other small items. Also, the buttons used to lower and raise the middle rack are sturdier than in so many other dishwashers I've owned. Lastly, I waited a bit for this model to go on sale for $900, which saved me a few hundred dollars. If I could change anything, it would be having an option to add a dry cycle to the Express (1 hour) cycle. Rarely do I use that cycle, but the option would be nice to have.

So far, this is the best dishwasher ever! Our last one, also a KitchenAid, was super quiet and did a great job, so we looked at KitchenAid again. The third top rack is a game changer! It's not flat like some others so is much more versatile--holds glasses at an angle so water doesn't collect on top, and holds long spatulas and mixing spoons that don't fit in the silverware holder. It's very quiet and efficient. Love the heated drying with a fan. Got a good deal at Best Buy and hope it lasts many years.

Love this dishwasher. Cleans very well. I collect handmade pottery so all are different sizes and it fits everything very well. The third rack is actually functional and I use it all the time. Second rack holds everything great and didn't break any glasses while washing. (Last LG did.) Quiet. Ditched the silverware sorter, who has time for that. Cleans silverware well. Yes, it is pricey but it works great.
