Expensive. Not enough space for tall items. I thought I'd use one drawer on the front for drinks and one for veggies. The veggie drawer doesn't hold enough. I thought the freezer area was too small for large items, but then I got a giant 21 pound turkey in the bottom drawer. On another note, the inside of the fridge is aesthetically pleasing. I keep the fridge more tidy because I like the way it looks.

This refrigerator is huge. Lots of space. The design is very functional. The two mid-level drawers are very convenient. The handles are solid. The black stainless is an awesome look. Well worth the upcharge. My only complaint is the water dispenser is very loud. Also, I would have prefered if it was large enough for a water bottle. But these are minor issues compared to all of the functional benefits.

Waited months for this KitchenAid model to be available in stock and the price went up but we think it will be worth it. After a month of use, we enjoy the refrigerator's modern style, lighting, coldness, and variety of food/drink configurations. Possible improvements: the ice maker is too slow (even on "Max ice") and the freezer drawer could use another light.

I read all the instructiones,the refrig cooled in 24 hrs it is now where it was preset at the factory & my food is in good condition,treated the ice & water gagets they way they said & I have really delicious water & crystal clear ice. I love having so many storage containers.The LED lites are wonderful I can see all my items no fears of food getting lost "in the back". A great addition to my kitchen. BUt let me tell you that sucker (the refrig) is HEAVY My heart went out to the 2 men who had to bring it up a flight of stairs.

Love the interior. Well lit so can easily see what's inside. Can really organize everything! Even 2 shelves in freezer for flat things like bacon, sausage, cheese, etc. Excellent extended warranty offered by Kitchen Aid.

We chose this refrig because the ice maker was in the door. Pros less noise/cons less storage for ice. Good storage compartments. Time will tell on operation of everything. We have had it 1 month now. Like operation of outside access to water-ice.

I am incredibly disappointed!!! I love the look, style and space of this refrigerator. 5 months after delivery and installation the ice maker stopped producing ice and the ice maker constantly leaked water inside the fridge. I had to use a towel every few hours to clean up the water. This started in September, and it took 22 documented service calls of changing parts, and diagnosing before KitchenAid decided it was non-repairable. They said the insulation had been over blown in the top of the refrigerator and when it expanded it caused water to flow improperly, and it damaged the refrigerator rendering it "unrepairable" and they replaced it in January. I was excited to receive the replacement refrigerator (brand new NOT refurbished) and put this headache behind me, but here we go 9 months later, and the ice maker on the NEW refrigerator does not produce ice. Service calls again have started. I'm just waiting for it to begin leaking water inside the refrigerator like the last one. After going through reviews and dealing with this on TWO refrigerators I see it's not an isolated situation. It's beautiful, but very poor quality. Don't chance it, just buy a different refrigerator. I lost a lot of time with work, and a ton of food that was constantly getting saturated because the 1st refrigerator and here the same symptoms are presenting themselves with the new refrigerator.

I chose this fridge because of the 2 refrigerator drawers and the good size freezer with 3 layers. It has many nice features, such as herb storage section, measured fill water dispensing, and air filters. The only downside is because of the drawers and large freezer, the shelves/bins in the main section of the fridge don't allow for taller jars and bottles. Thankfully, I am able to make everything fit because of the one shelf that collapses back to half depth. Overall this is a fantastic refrigerator.

Fridge looks good. Freezer does not roll smoothly back into position. It seems like a well built solid fridge.

This is the second one I’ve bought. Three years ago I purchased a home and immediately replaced all the kitchen appliances with KitchenAid. They all worked flawlessly the entire time. When I decided to sell that house all the appliances were still available so I sold the house with them which was a strong selling feature. I moved to another state, bought another house and immediately replaced all appliances (which were in working condition) with the same KitchenAid models that I had just used for the last 3 years. That’s how happy I am with this refrigerator and the rest of the KitchenAid appliances. As a matter of fact I measured the space for this refrigerator in every home I considered buying. If I move again I’ll take them with me. For those that say it’s an expensive refrigerator, you’re correct it’s not cheap. As a matter of fact it’s about twice what I originally intended to spend. But I’ll say this…I have never regretted spending the money, it’s worth it to me to have appliances that make cooking enjoyable.

I love everything about my new KitchenAid fridge and am happy with my purchase! The two external drawers are a great feature. They are the depth of the fridge itself and stores plenty of water bottles and cans of soda, which helps keep opening the large doors at a minimum. The drawers also have a self closing feature which is so cool! The fridge and freezer both are very spacious. Everyone in my family also loves the look of the fridge. Now I just need to get the other KitchenAid appliances to match the fridge!

Love this fridge! I went in with my mind made up, but a sales associate suggested this Kitchen Aid. So glad he did! My fresh foods STAY fresh! The drawers keep perfect temps for items inside, and soft close is a bonus. Water and ice taste great, good water pressure, love the measured water feature and tall dispenser area. If you use too small a cup, you might get some water spray or stray ice, but it doesn’t take long to learn where to place your cup to keep it from happening. I preferred a larger ice maker, not in the door, but this one is keeping up just fine. The large freezer space would make it easy to store up extra ice ahead of time for a large party if needed. Love the organization of the freezer, especially the designated pizza area. Refrigerator area is well lit; for awhile I didn’t realize there are lights under the front edge of 2 shelves! I do hear the compressor’s low buzz when on and you know when the ice about to drop, but the sounds aren’t annoyingly loud in my opinion. The shelf edges are spill resistant, not spill proof, but a quick lift of the glass, wipe around the edge and you’re good to go. The black stainless is perfect with my oil rubbed bronze kitchen accents and my husband LOVES the industrial handles, win win! Side note, if you’re near a Best Buy Outlet, you may find a great deal on one of these!

We love the refrigerator and freezer capacity. The three drawers in the freezer make storing and finding items a cinch. The interior has a sleek design. I would rate 5 stars but it's difficult to clean the stainless without smears.

My wife and I loved the look of the fridge and the black stainless makes it even sleeker. More importantly, the storage capacity of the fridge is fantastic and while the freezer is smaller than others, its drawers make for easy organization.

We needed a new Refrigerator after moving into our new home. Although this KitchenAid matches our appliances it wasn't necessary for us. We love the separate drawers for outside access. We use ours for Lunchmeats/Cheeses and the other for produce. We use the interior sliding clear view area in the front for Butter Sticks, yogurt and small items. The interior is Grey just feels cleaner. The exterior handles help prevent fingerprints. We like that the blades for the ice maker are metal and the ice maker is on the door and can be easily removed. Disappointed that the ice maker runs out of ice. We do use lots of ice living in Arizona.

We absolutely love this refrigerator. We had a Sub Zero prior to this and wanted something that looked nice and had capacity. Well this Kitchen Aid fit the bill. We are so happy that there is so much room. We also love the 2 separate drawers, one for cold drinks and the other for fruit. You can utilize the drawers anyway that you want. Lots of room in the freezer too. Very happy with our purchase!

My Samsung fridge caught fire in the ice maker and I needed to find something of great quality immediately. When I saw this KitchenAid, I fell in love (hmmm, I need a life lol). Anyway this has been great to store all of my food with plenty of room. Love the self-closing drawers and the shelving in the freezer. It has a shallow profile so it doesn't take up a lot of space either. So happy with this!!!

Two years ago I bought this Kitchen Aid Refrigerator for around $3500 plus tax. About three months ago the freezer stopped cooling. The refrigerator at the time was 2 years and 2 months old, so it's out of the one year warranty and we don't have an extended warranty. Who would think you would need one when you spend this kind of money on an appliance! I called Whirlpool, they sent the request to their exclusive technician for in warranty and out of warranty repairs, Fields Appliance Service, Inc., of Orlando(local repair agent for Whirlpool). Here’s where the gaggle began. The unit stops freezing, then freezes, stops freezing then freezes. Approx. every 2 weeks the techs come back and by they get here its freezing again, and they can't duplicate the problem. Does Whirlpool care! NOOO, Next time I’m buying a Samsung! Never again Whirlpool or Kitchen Aid.
