We had purchased the extended warranty and literally 2 days before the warranty expired the ice maker started acting up, it was on back order and they replaced the refrigerator with a brand new one

Installers explained all the features to me and my wife.

The fridge come to find out is actually 10 years old and this was NOT disclosed to us. The fridge started having issues so we contacted geek squad and they advised us to contact Kitchen Aid as it was "still under the 1 year manufacture warranty". We contacted Kitchen aid and found out that not only is this fridge 10 years old but had two service calls in 2015 and 2017. Very displeased with best buy and their failure to disclose the age of this fridge and that we have only had it since May of 2024 and it is having issues....

We bought the unit brand new and it arrived defective multiple dents and scratches, and it didn't keep the cooling temperatures. It spoiled our food. Best Buy attempted to send us and additional 2 fridges to replace the defective unit but they both arrived in a worse condition than the first one. We eventually had no choice but to go back with Samsung fridge. My suggestion is if you do but this item always triple check for any damages.
