Our 10 year old LG Started to leave little black specs on our dishes. Instead of paying to have a 10 year old dishwasher looked at we decided to just buy a new one. After much research we decided on a Bosch. After going and actually looking at dishwashers we changed our mind to this Kitchen Aide. This Dishwasher just seemed better made than the rest. The third rack was designed better and seemed much more useful than others we looked at. After having it for a few weeks now we are impressed with how it cleans. We have stopped pre-washing our dishes. We just put them in the dishwasher and everything comes clean. Oh, and it is super quiet! The only points we would take off would be that it is listed as fingerprint resistant. We have other appliances that are also labeled as fingerprint resistant, such as a Samsung refrigerator, and it does a much better job than the dishwasher. That is truly our only complaint so far.

Wow!! This dishwasher is made for us. Finally, a dishwasher that accommodates lots of bowls (we eat mostly out of bowls). And it holds lots of cups, mugs, and glasses. The three racks are spectacular for loading all the dishes, glasses, utensils, cook pans, mixing bowls, and smaller items like bottle caps. It is astonishingly QUIET- when the installer walked us through the cycles, I kept asking if it was on. It is energy and water efficient which is necessary here in the high desert. I know it’s not about the dishwasher per se, but I have to mention how awesome the installers Best Buy outsourced our install to up here in Antelope Valley, CA. We’re in a rural area on septic with our grey water going out to our back acres. The ProInstaller guys went way above and beyond to make sure the dishwasher was working before they left. ProInstallers were courteous, observed strict Covid safety protocols, very knowledgeable, and kept great attitudes when they hit a snag with our plumbing hook up (apparently this dishwasher has a stronger pump and more sensitive water pressure sensor than our previous dishwasher). Highly recommend this dishwasher and installers through Best Buy!

I purchased KitchenAid dishwashers for my last two homes. Always pleased with look, function and reliability. Moved to a new home in 2021 and needed to replace a dishwasher. Decided to try Thermador since it was a “luxury brand” and more consistent with the value of the home. Thermador was noisy, controls were not intuitive and generally felt smaller than previous dishwashers. After one week with the Thermador, I called Best Buy and returned the unit. exchanges for at his KitchenAid. I should have relied on past experience when making original purchase and stick with KitchenAid to begin with. Consistent with past experience, this KitchenAid has been very quiet, easy to operate and looks great. Highly recommend.

Excellent cleaning and very quiet operation. We replaced our old builder grade dishwasher that cleaned well but was very loud. This Kitchenaid with ProDry is very quiet and the dishes come out clean and dry. We have other Kitchenaid appliances now and we love all of them.

Extremely happy with our purchase of this dishwasher. It holds a ton of dishes, is efficient, very quiet, and well insulated so the countertop above it does not get hot like it did with our previous dishwasher. We no longer have to prewash our dishes before placing them in the dishwasher - everything thus far has come out pristine. My only complaints are that our towels easily slip off the towel bar and the buttons on the top are sensitive, so they frequently get activated when opening/closing to load it. Nothing that would prevent me from buying again. The design of the interior is much different than our previous dishwasher, so it did take me some time to figure out how to best load it but that's not necessarily a bad thing - just takes some getting used to.

Just replaced my old KitchenAid dishwasher with this one, and absolutely love it. Of course, it is much much better and quieter than my 12-year old previous unit. I especially love the 3rd rack, which is much deeper than any other dishwasher on the market. I can even fit coffee mugs and soup bowls in that rack. Love this quiet workhorse!

We purchased this dishwasher after comparing many other brands. We ultimately decided on this one because of the deep third rack that can hold utensils as big as my Blackstone spatulas and even my short glasses. The racks glide smoothly, the washing capabilities are far better than my old one-the plastics actually come out clean and dry! It runs super quietly, love the indicator to let me know if it’s done or not and the towel bar is handy! I failed to consider I can’t open the kitchen drawer perpendicular to the dishwasher but it’s fine, I live the look and can adjust to it.

Kitchen Aid dishwasher is working great! Extremely quiet, efficient and fits in my kitchen very well. Highly recommend kitchen aid, has 3 racks, and the dishes and pots and pans come out sparkling! Also highly recommend Best Buy. I get all my tv

So far my spouse and I really like this dishwasher. We have large Denby plates which have difficulty fitting in many dishwashers. With the adjustable 2nd rack, they are no issue. The 3rd rack is great because its an actual rack and not just a silverware tray. What I did find surprising is that its noticeably quieter than the 10 year old LG this replaced. If you are not in the kitchen, you cannot hear it at all. The only negative I can think of is the cycle times - a "normal" wash is 2 hrs 53 min and a "quick" cycle is still 1 hr 10 min. (Although from my research, long cycles are common now). Typically we use the delay and run it overnight so cycle time is not an issue and its quiet enough that it doesn't disturb anyone's sleep.

This is a great dishwasher. It's very quiet and does a really good job washing the dishes.

KitchenAid never disappoints! This will be our second KA dishwasher - the first lasted 30 years and never let us down! Our new Kitchen Aid Top Control Built-in Dishwasher is ultra quiet and roomy with added adjustments for whatever extra space is needed. The 3rd Rack is incredibly useful and handy. Wonderfully designed & great-looking. The Best Buy installers were polite & knowledgable throughout the installation process, The Best!

This dishwasher has been great. Cleans everything we have loaded. The heating coil helps even the plastics to come out dry. We like the third rack which is a bit deeper than the Bosch 800 which was our other consideration. Solid feel when you close the door. It is pretty quiet and the 24 hour delay is nice. I do wish it had wi-fi connection but not a game changer for us.

Bought this open box dishwasher on a whim to replace a Samsung that died unexpectedly. It’s been great so far, the 3 racks are very thoughtfully designed making this dishwasher’s capacity extra usable. Dishwasher is virtually silent and washed very well. Needless to say when the rest of my appliances need replacing, I will be purchasing more Kitchenaid appliances

Took some figuring out but it's a good dishwasher. Same size as my old one, yet way more capacity due to the third rack and how the other racks are laid out. I wish it came with a manual. I had to do some hunting online to find a nice diagram of how to load it - it does make a difference loading it the recommended way. And there was one movable tine section I couldn't figure out intuitively and had to hunt for a video on. I also discovered that my usual dish detergent (Method Free and Clear) doesn't do as good a job. The recommended detergent (Finish Jet Dry Ultimate) does a noticeably better job. They're comparable in price, so that's fine, but I think it's odd that a brand new dishwasher should be that picky about detergent. The mug rack is ingenious. Favorite feature. You CAN see the display when the dishwasher is closed so you know how much time is left - you just gotta crouch a little to see it under the counter lip.

Easy to load with plenty of room for all the dishes. Love the third rack and that it holds more than just silverware. Can hardly hear it running. At the end of the cycle, dishes are clean and dry - no water drips!

We're are very happy with this purchase. The dishwasher is nearly silent, holds a ton, and gets dishes very clean. The this rack design is particularly innovative (watch the video in best buy's site).

VERY quite. Very roomy. Great 3rd (upper) shelf. Does a great job of getting our dishes (etc.) clean. No regrets with our choice.

Replaced a new GE Profile washer with this. The GE had a much more versatile silverware basket and the racks were better designed. The door on the washer takes some getting used to; you have to push it all the way down to open it. However this has the large third rack and it cleans and dries much better than the GE. Possibly the best of the four KitchenAid appliances I bought.

Excellent cleaning. Dries better than our old top-of-the-line GE. It is worth it to get KDTM604KPS rather that the lesser models. KDTM604 has much better adjustability in the rack tines which allows for handling bowls much better. The fan drying on this model is also much superior to models without it. We have loved the third rack. Noise is excellent, but there are some a little better. Overall, if you can't get a Bosh, this is the one to buy!!
