I bought this hood to go over the 48 inch kitchenaid range that I bought at the same time. The unit looks nice, but does not operate! You have to buy a separate fan motor. Yes, for 1700 bucks, it does NOT come with a fan motor of any kind!! This is not mentioned in big any where that is easy to see, or does Best Buy even suggest it as an accessory. In fact, I don't even see where you can special order the thing. So looks nice, but if you need it to actually function. Forget it!
