This electric range is amazing. The temperature controls for the range are well designed as is the entire top. The range and oven are true to temperature. Tonight I had some spaghetti sauce spills on the top, but it cleaned up well with the glass top cleaner. I am very happy I selected this model - I might even enjoy cooking for the first time?! I highly recommend this model!

I purchased this to replace a dated oven that was looking a little rough. I was impressed by the style and features this model offers, and it has proven to be a reliable stove. However, I don't know what Kitchen Aid was thinking with the materials used for the glass range stove top. Even though it is black in color, it shows spots very easily, and it is difficult to clean. I use a stove top spray regularly, and it just doesn't clean off much.

We were upsold on this range by an associate that assured us that KitchenAid was commercial grade and therefore would be higher quality and longer lasting. But I can't find a single thing about this range that justifies the price tag and it feels more like a low end unit with a high end name.
To start, we were assured that the top had a special coating that would clean easily. That has definitely not been the case. One small overboil and we have a stain we can't remove.
The convection oven, one of the primary features we were looking for, can't possibly be a true convection as we were told. I have baked biscuits and cookies that were just barely browning on top and the bottom ended up just this side of burned and very hard. Not even close to the even baking I would expect from a true convection oven.
For a 'commercial grade' oven, the drawer is awfully flimsy.
Lastly and one of the most disappointing things is that it takes much longer to preheat than our previous range, a Kenmore. I wish I had that and my money back as we have been extremely underwhelmed with this purchase. In no way does it live up to the $1,300 price tag.

Kitchenaid stove has electric arcing that led to a small fire. Kitchen aid fridge also leaks. Kitchenaide dishwasher takes 8+ hours to wash. Wouldn't but this brand ever again :(

Excellent range and oven, but the controls take some getting used to -- it's partially back to hand controls, which is odd. And where it stays hot and where it does not is also confusing.

My wife picked out this KitchenAid oven originally to match our other new appliances but a few features stand out. It’s sleek and modern looking combined with traditional style controls, with the big touch LED buttons and large burner dials.
She loves how easy it is to clean the cooktop surface, and with the controls in back away from the cooking area they don’t gather dust and food particles like front mounted controls.
