I purchased this range 8 months ago and for the last 4 months I have been unable to fully use the stove. The oven and broil stopped working a few months after purchasing the stove. KitchenAid sent out a service technician that practically rebuilt the stove. I had to wait weeks for the parts before the repair was done. A few weeks later the broil and oven stopped working again. The technician came out again and was unable to repair. He even blamed the electricity company for low voltage as to why the stove doesn’t work!! Several different technicians have come and done repairs to no avail. It has been about 6 weeks since I have been able to use the stove. I even had to cancel thanksgiving! KitchenAid is still refusing to replace the stove after I have made several requests for a replacement. I guess they are waiting on the warranty to runout. This is one of the most beautiful and expensive piece of junk I have ever purchased. KitchenAid customer service reps do offer a listening ear towards the issues that I complain about with the beautiful, pricey piece of junk but no one has a solution or seems to see the issue with a stove that does not work!! Well, I guess everyone at KitchenAid was able to roast their Thanksgiving turkey so my lack of a working oven to roast mine was not their problem. Well, another service repair tech came today and replaced one of the stove “panel boards”. Replacing the panel board did not solve the problem, so he said he has to order parts and try to replace another one of the stove “panel board”. I asked how many panel boards the stove has. He replied that it has 5!! Maybe we’ll get lucky after the 4th or 5th panel board replacement???? KitchenAid has decided to entice us with a beautiful stove, hoping no one will notice that it doesn’t cook!!! After all it only cost several thousand dollars so what’s the fuss about??? Poor us customers, we are so insignificant in KitchenAids world, how dear us complain about a stove that doesn’t work! We get punished for complaining! We are forced to wait weeks for a service tech to come out, sometimes they don’t even show up!!! I’m from a 3rd world country and have never experienced anything like this before! I am writing this review with fear of KitchenAid retaliation. They might never send another tech to try and guess the stove’s problem……

Slides in well and really updated the kitchen. Just wish the control lock would also lock out the burners.

I received my new range today. When the oven is on the exterior of the range is 135 degrees and the warming drawer also gets very hot where the floor feels warm. The dials also get very hot as well as the control panel. This is my third attempt in buying a decent range. With the cost of this upgraded range I would have thought that I was getting quality. How safe is running your oven and the extremity of the range being so hot. I am so disappointed!
