Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These are big speakers. Paired with the Yamaha S801. The RP-600m speakers are crisp, clear, deep, and loud as heck. Its the kind of sound where you feel like you're swallowing it through your ears. Was originally using my old Onkyo NR727 and 16 AWG wire to drive these (bi amp 2.1) and they sounded great but a bit hollow and under-powered. Upgraded to 12 AWG wire and they sounded a bit better. Upgraded to the Yamaha S801 Integrated AMP and what a difference! Make sure you have some quality juice to pump into these speakers or you'll be underwhelmed for the price.
