    Simple and works as advertised although I must admit to being a little confused by the pop up menu when you plug it in. It doesn't seem to have any function. In the 3 weeks I've had this, it if A-OK

    When I had to get a new computer, I needed to get my old files out and into the new one. LaCie external dive was easy to use and got the job done. And it was less that I had expected on cost.

    I bought this external HDD to replace an old one I've been using for a few years. I opted for the more shock resistant model and so far so good. Haven't had any major drops, and the writing speeds are pretty good on this as well.
