I think this is well worth the cost. Can also write with finger after you set it up with enclosed pencil.

This product just like other LeapFrog products has been quite helpful with building the vocabulary and writing ability of the kids. Highly recommended!!!

My son is learning how to write and I saw this and thought he would get a kick out of it. Comes with a free app to download and my son does enjoy writing on it and learning new numbers and letters. You have to be right on par with the tracings though and if you are not you have to start over, and that can be frustrating for a 3 year old!

I bought this for my two year old. He loves it. Works great and easy to use and to set up. I installed it on my iPad mini so its best for use while traveling because 2 year olds can't focus for too long if they have too much freedom. Its a great learning to write tool for little ones.

It is an awesome tool for kids to use, when they learn to write. Wish it had more programs to use it with.

This product is useful for kids beginning to write. The software is easy to install and it is workable in different devices. My kids love it and they always use it. I recommend it for toddlers and under 5 years old. It is a great gift for children going to pre school.

My son loves to "play" with his new pencil and I like it because it keeps him engaged while learning how to write.

My daughter loves Mr. pencil. It helps her practice writing her letter, shapes, lines, etc. it is a good product for preschooler. You just have to hold Mr. pencil in a certain way to make it work. But overall it is a nice product.

Got this for my 2 year old for Xmas. Right away out of the box she was already tracing letters and numbers. App is easy to install. I've never had a complaint about LeapFrog products and you won't with this one.

This is the second Mr. Pencil that I buy. The first one was for my grandson and now for my granddaughter. It has been a blessing for them to have this tool while learning how to write their first words.

I would definitely recommend to anyone with a preschooler. App is free from the App store and the Pencil makes it fun and is easy to use.

It is useful and easy to use. My nephew likes it as a beginner of writing.
