Good wallet for starters but if you're investing in many coins buy the Nano X or Nano S+ instead.

The Ledger Nano S is a very affordable hardware crypocurrency wallet that supports many cryptocurrency types. The device is very secure with Ledger’s own operating system and numerous anti-hacking enhancements. The device generates your own private key for your cryptocurrency you install an app for each cyrpto currency. The actual crypocurency stays on the blockchain. The Nano S can support 5-11 tokens through apps You can remove an app and put in another if you need to add a token to sell or exchange it and you don’t have space your crypto from the removed app will stay in the Ledger wallet although this is not ideal it is doable. Bottom line if you need more apps on a regular basis you can purchase the big brother the Nano X. The setup was easy, just install the Ledger live app on your computer or mobile device, connect your Nano S with the included USB cord. The App will walk you through the setup. Data entry is achieved by using two buttons on the device, this is a little tedious but once you get used to it not too bad. The device will generate your recovery security words and ask you to confirm them. You can specify if you want 18 or 24. You will need to copy the 18 or 24 security words these are your keys to get back into your wallet if anything happens to your device. After the device is setup you can install an app to support the cryptocurrency you need to move to the wallet. When you are ready to transfer you cryptocurrency you just copy the Ledger wallet address and use the standard transfer method for your online exchange or wallet to get it into the Ledger wallet. You can also store NFTs or connect your Ledger wallet to other wallets like Metamask, Ledger has a vast online help library to guide you. I had one glitch setting up the wallet after I generated the 24 security words you confirm them, I did not get through the entire 24, the device rebooted twice, I think it was doing a firmware update. After the second reboot I entered the 24 security words to restore the wallet and it worked as expected. You might want to connect the Ledger S to your computer and let it update if it needs to so you can avoid this. As Cryptocurrency becomes mainstream and online storage of your cryptocurrency becomes more prone to hacking a hadware wallet is a much more secure way to hold your cryptocurrency. The Ledger Nano S is an affordable and easy to use solution. Ledger is a well know and it’s device has a proven record of reliability. I feel this is the best choice for most of cryptocurrency investors who generally hold 5-6 types of cryptocurrency.
