Ok first of all every Lego fan and gamer wants this game. The price is way higher than I would like to pay for a game. but again is also a Lego play set too. We own a few of the play sets and is so awesome how you have to stop and assemble something in the middle of the game,Is so interactive and challenging. I'm pretty sure we are going to end up buying all the levels and play sets. Overall best game ever.

This is one of the best Ideas LEGO has had in years. The combination of the build with the gaming interaction really holds your interest beyond the mundane game play or the block assembly. A great web combining all of the great stories and movies we have had over the years. Score one for LEGO!!

Bought this game for my kids for Christmas and they love it! They love the interaction of building the Lego vehicles with the video game. As a mother, I much prefer this real life building interaction combined with video games over just video games.

The game is great! This was really fun to put together and start playing. I love that it is available for the 360 because that keeps the Xbox One free for the adults to play. There was a glitch in the opening part of the game which wouldn't make the build instructions for the car populate in the game. After Googling it we found that we would have to restart the game and just do the intro over again to proceed. Once we got passed that point, everything was fine. The dialogue in the game is witty and sarcastic and absolutely hilarious for all ages. We are in our 30's and had just as much fun playing as our 11 year old.

its awesome. kind of like skylanaders but better because you can emter mew environments with totally different characters that we see in tv and movies.

So far so good. We have been enjoying the game play and its another hit Lego game. We didn't bother building the portal as it looked pretty big and we don't have the space for it and it still works great. You actually don't need to build anything as those are just mainly for looks and its just the base that interacts with the game. One annoying thing though is that gandolf's hat keeps falling off. I might have to use some kragle on that...

Great addition to Xbox. Kind of pricey. It's a lot better than Disney Infinity.

Initially got this because I wanted the Doctor Who sets but I've appreciated most of the Lego games and this is by far the best. Lots of hommages to the various movies and shows -writers did their homework! Also likes how you have to move the characters around the base in order to complete certain aspects of the game, thus kinda forcing you to get up and move every now and then.

Fun to build the kit and it looks really neat! Very fun concept for a game.

Many of this genre of video games are wonderful for children of all ages, just remember that they often are on sale so do not rush out to buy them. The toys always drop in price as well so its best to wait. Rather than review the content of the game I just wanted to share that information with you. Bought this one for my wife who loves all the Lego games. But a blast it is exploring the various worlds. With so many great properties and the classic Lego game play this is virtually the perfect Lego game. If I had any complaint it would be the moving of the pieces on the game pad. This gets a little tedious at times but not too bad. Overall we love this game!

Awesome game to play, easy to learn and I enjoy the add ons

My ten year old squealed with joy and ran around the house he was so excited to receive this gift. And it has not disappointed. He has played it nonstop since receiving it. He enjoyed putting all of the Lego playing pieces together as well. I must say, personally, it looks pretty cool sitting there too!

This game is the best. It is similar to infinity and sky landers but it has quickly become the favorite. The characters are awesome and being able to use many of the characters at a time add creativity and humor to the game. Nothing funnier than batman following the yellow brick road. We love it.

My son and I have been playing this game... He loves it and we get to build the vehicles and figures together which we both enjoy. We haven't gotten too far but we are enjoying this game. It's a good interactive game but wished it was 3-4 player game.

This was a last minute purchase for the kiddos for Christmas, and it was a HIT! They LOVE it. It's awesome how they have to build as they lay the game, the graphics are out of this world, and it occupies them for as long as they're allowed to play!

My son loved this game. Fantastic mix of a physical and digital toy. The only issue I am having is figuring out how to update the software. Without being able to do that I am concerned that the packs, such as back the future, you buy outside of this will not work.

Very creative, fun game to play. Enough challenges and game play for the whole family. I'm sure we will be buying more characters and add ons. The kids had played Skylanders but that became too easy. This game is much better.

We got Lego Dimensions for our 13 year old son, thinking he would love it... he does, BUT our 11 year old daughter loves it too! They are getting on well while they play it too!!!! I highly recommend this game to kids between 10 and 14!

I really like to build in game the LEGO blocks that you receive than start gaming. Rebuilding is a nice feature that no game has and the game play is awesome.
