I purchased this one for my granddaughter... before I could leave the store I had to call and tell my husband about the deal. He has needed a new laptop for a while now so he want one for himself. I went back in and purchased the last one on the shelf. Our granddaughter plays games, Sims 4 and Minecraft and loves how well it performs. She says it's very high speed and smooth.. My husband uses his for music programs and recording. He loves his new laptop also!! Our geek friend came over and said we got a great laptop at a great price. I have studied all different types of laptops and read tons of reviews so I was already sold on Lenovo's quality!!!!

I bought this laptop mostly for school, but in my spare time, i use it for light gaming. Games like Minecraft, Terraria, The Sims. Laptop is quick, responsive, and can take a pretty decent load of tabs and open apps, as well as games. I do have a bit of trouble with it freezing here and there, but nothing more than that. It works great with my Huion Graphics tablet, and I'm rather happy with it. If this is going to be someones first laptop, it's perfect. It's easy to navigate and use, right out of the box. It can do pretty much everything you want it to do for daily use, and a little more. I'd be happy to answer any other questions about this laptop.

I previously had a Acer laptop that got destroyed due to water damage and needed a replacement. My husband purchased the Lenovo Ideapad 320 notebook and thus far, I enjoy learning to use it. It is a stylish design, has great multi-tasking features and is user friendly.

I bought an HP from the 2100 S Best Buy by the Trax Station. That laptop ended up being horrible howevver it was cheap but man it was bad. I was double charged for it before I was called up to get it from pickup and it took days to get back and almost missed a rent ppayment because of it. Anyways thats aside, when I got the money back I returned it to the Murray Best Buy on State Street. They were a pleasure to work with, no questions asked they took it back. I traded it in plus paid an extra 100$ for this Lenovo. This is the first time I tried the Ryzen processor and it was right up there next to the i3 considering it was a Ryzan 3. GREAT, This Lenovo for an extra 100$ was way worth it. This is the second Lenovo I have had with an AMD processor plus it even had a terabyte HD. Consider this was over 5 years ago. I think its faster, got way more memory and way more RAM then the AiO HP that I am writing this on. Lenovo always a pleasure.

My old laptop croaked on me and I was in the market for something that suited my needs. Was looking for something that could handle basic home and office use, as well as some light gaming. (I have too many games on Steam). Also did not want to plunk down 600 plus on a laptop that, realistically, I would only use for light gaming and the occasional report. Oh, and that Youtube thing. Fast forward, I came across this Laptop on a review for light gaming recommendations. The price was good (low 300s), the specs reasonable and the early reviews were promising. Made my purchase online, and after a brief SNAFU with stock issues, I lucked out on getting an open box return for a slightly lesser amount. I am not a super tech, just a casual user with slightly more know how than how to turn on the power button. I am pleased with the limited amount of bloatware and a relatively brisk speed. I currently have 10 tabs open in Chrome, streaming music and switching off to another window with about 4 tabs. No stutter. No lag. Its wunderbar. I've read people complain about the "cheap feel" of the keyboard. Meh, it stays in my room, plugged in, and after a few days of typing, you just get used to the clickety clack of the keys. One thing I will say is that the on board speaker is weak, but that's why you plug in headphones for decent sound. I carried it with me a couple of times to the coffeeshop. It's heavier than I would like and I suspect battery life wouldn't last very long if unplugged, but that's why we sit next to an outlet, yes? This thing has Spotify, Libre Office (because I dont like the idea of subscribing for a word processor) and Steam. That should give an idea of what I use it for. Games I play are Bioshock 1 and 2, Pillars of Eternity, and Assassins Creed 1. Netflix and Hulu run without a hitch. So far, all runs pretty smooth. Much better than my old desktop (that thing was kind of ancient). Moral of story. It should be good for most users. Probably won't run all the latest and greatest games, but for older programs and general use, this thing is more than enough for what I need right now. Only issue I have so far is in trying to download the recovery media from Lenovo's website. That thing keeps locking up and reading the comments, it seems to be a problem for everyone. So, if the software decides to go kaput, I may have to get creative in reinstalling software. But that's me buying Open Box. If you get the brand spanking new version, you should get all your accessories with the laptop. I think. Hope this helps.

Bought this on a Black Friday deal; I was fed up with spending $$$ on pc's etc only to find them hit a problem as soon as they were out of warranty. I've not had this too long so if things change I'll see if I can update my review but so far this has been great. I've been able to install the software I needed with no trouble (other than the usual issues some encounter with Windows 10). Runs fast, linked up to my printer and phone, no problem. Considering what I use it for (home use, documents, lots of photos and photo-editing software, emails, shopping etc but not gaming), it seems to do everything I want without the high price tag I've paid in previous years. Downsides I've discovered so far: the fan is noisy, no getting round that one. Battery life isn't good, I'd say I seem to get about 3 hours max and then it's dead, volume could be better (but I've had that on even my more expensive laptops) and the screen is bright enough when plugged in to power but dims a fair bit once it's running by itself. Tried everything, can't bring it back to the same plugged in brightness. However, the fact I seem to need a new computer every 2-3 years no matter what I buy (and I've had some really good ones), I'm happy to spend less and put up with these problems!

first of all, 8 gig of memory is wonderful, but as usual, Windows 10 seems to allocate at least 2 gig at all times to keep itself stable. So You are looking at 6 gig of usable memory. the 1 terabyte drive is actually 950 plus gig, but again, you have to place windows somewhere. it is pretty fast. I am using internet explorer 11, also known as Microsoft Edge. I gotta hand it to ya...its pretty sweet. In fact, it seems to run smoother than Mozilla (I have an app installed to control bloatware, and it seems to be bogging the browser down). it is the same size as my Asus it replaced (gave to my nephew for school). it runs a little warmer, and here's why: the vents for the hot microchip and other warm components vent out the front of laptop, just under the screen. I guess they feel they didn't want to roast your naughty bits. most laptops vent on the side, and remember the old, old machines that vented downwards? yeah, those were the days. the amd processer seems to be just as fluid as any intel processor, but I feel it is a matter of personal preference. the assus I gave to my nephew ran an intel processor, but I cannot honestly say it ran any faster than this machine. graphics come from radeon, which is a homecoming for me, as I haven't used their product for the better part of a decade. welcome home! it comes with the usual bloatware-buy office 365, or not, Lenovo settings app, and a few other apps you may want to delete for space. it feels pretty solid, and thinner than my outgoing machine. nice metallic finish, they seem to want to go with a minimalist look. I don't understand the usb c port but I guess I will find out when I go searching for stuff at best buy to plug into it. it only has two usb 3.0 ports so be ready to pull out your portable usb docks if you need more usb ports. built in ac wifi, blazing fast, has Bluetooth built in, although I have yet to plug into it *I have Bluetooth speakers, just been lazy to fire them up* all in all, the amd a12 4 core 7th generation chip handles its own. windows has been updating pretty regularly, in fact the day I got it, and seems to be improving all the time. this machine was built for the next generation of software from windows. buy it and try it, I think you will agree it is ... a best buy!!

This is a great laptop for a student or professional that needs good speed, memory and hard drive upgradeability, and can do some basic gaming. When I say basic gaming I a not staying 60 fps on high detail at 1080p resolution on the newest games. However older games, or some newer games that are optimized for budget hardware this laptop plays them well enough on low to medium settings at max resolution for the screen at 30 to 60 fps depending on how you configure. bottom line, good laptop, light weight and has some of the newer features that only higher end laptops had up until this model line was release.

I got this on Black Friday, so I got it for $278.00 so it was a really good deal. Only have had it for about a week and a half, so far: Pros - - Good laptop for the price. - Was in perfect condition; no scratches or scraps. - Respond time is fast. - Big screen. Cons - - Battery life isn’t too good. Lasts maybe two hours with just browsing the web and typing. Needs to constantly be charging.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15 laptop. The battery life on the model is up to 4.5 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. Be sure you don't have any unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Additionally, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. lenovo

Black Friday Deal! This laptop is a good laptop for the price if it was more expensive. I would look for something else. Cons: The battery doesn't seem to last very long 3 hours. Battery is not removable. This is going shorten the life of the battery. I usually remove the battery from my laptops when power adapter is plugged in and the Laptop is in use. This extends the life span of the battery. Running on battery power display is a bit dark not very clear. Use the power adapter display much brighter and clearer. Power adapter awkward and flimsy, doesn’t seem sturdy. Wish the laptop came in black To much unwanted software installed. Slows down the system a lot. Pros: Lenovo - 15.6" Laptop - AMD A12-Series - 8GB Memory The price is reasonable under $300.00 Screen size is decent Weight of the Laptop light ! When I first tried it out I expected more out of this Laptop wasn’t slow but wasn’t superfast either. With AMD A12-Series Processor and 8GB of Memory expected a lot more out of this Laptop. After tweaking and making adjustments disabling some apps. A big difference! AMD A12-Series Processor and 8GB of Memory enough power for Basic Apps and Games. Connects to the internet fine. Streaming video very Good. It’s for my son for school. If it last for 5 years it was a great deal!! We will see?
