I searched for a laptop with a decent amount of memory, NOT touchscreen, has a DVD/CD drive and SSD for under $700 which was almost impossible to find! I finally found this Lenovo 510-151KB and thought it was too good to be true. I ordered it on-line and picked it up at BB seamlessly. The Geek Squad even loaded the software on it for free. I am very happy with this computer!

This computer came highly recommended by a family member who is a Lenovo owner. It is quick, quiet, offers the precise capability I need with room for me to grow into other programs onboard. And the solid-state hard drive...exactly what I was looking for. This is my first-time with Lenovo and so far I'm a believer.

Super fast startup, fast shut down, fast operation. Solid state HD is the way to go. This one is small at 250GB but I use an external drive for storage. For some reason the designers at Lenovo thought it would be a great idea to put an up arrow key where the right shift key should be. I read that in the reviews and thought it was a minor thing, but after receiving the laptop I found that it was impossibly frustrating and time consuming to constantly backspace and correct mistakes. That's why I only gave 4 stars. I used a software patch to switch the 2 keys.

Extremely happy with my purchase. Quality product with plenty of horsepower. SS hard drive is the way to go. Purchased a HP for work, Lenovo blows HP away.

Clear resolution, very quiet and very cool. User friendly so far. Really good webcam quality. Love the lit keyboard . Only gave it 4 stars because I just started to use it but am liking my choice very much so far. SSD is definitely the way to go. My old laptop would get too hot to handle at times. Yes, as per other reviews the keyboard is slightly different in that the "shift" key is in a different but nearby place on the right side, its where the up key now is. For me, that's a minor issue. Overall for my needs, this is a nice computer and should serve me well for quite a long time. Also, I found the exact computer for $50. less with a competitor and call customer service to see if they would do a price match. I figured they would find some reason not to but no, they matched the price of the competitor. Thank you, BB.

It has everything I was looking for in a Laptop. It has a good processor with a SSD, backlit keyboard and a disc drive. Everything in one machine for a very reasonable price.

Lenovo makes a great hit with this notebook. Runs fast, SSD is great. Might consider an external SSD, just in case you need extra memory space. Love the backlit keyboard!

I am completely satisfied with this Lenovo laptop. Between the I7 processor and the SSD drive I am up and running in 15 seconds. The right hand shift key being smaller is a little hard to get used to but it's a small inconvenience. I'm sold on solid state drives.

For the price, it's an awesome laptop. The features it has are great, on any other high brand name it would cost at least 200 dollars more. The speakers could be a little better, but I'm not complaining, considering everything else it has. That's why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

I saw the specification of this product online and really liked the configuration. It has great processor and SSD. Which was a deal breaker for me. Unfortunately it didn't work. We couldn't even power it own even after charging for long hours.

I read the reviews and this seemed like a great deal. It is FAST both in startup and operation. It is light and mostly easy to use.... BUT I should have paid more attention to the complaints about the shift key. Why should I have to relearn how to type? It is extremely inconvenient to have an arrow key where the right shift key should be. It causes constant errors in typing and the need for retyping and correction. Who decided to move that key? I would not buy this again and would not recommend it.

I've had the Lenovo 510 for about a month now. No issues at all. Very powerful laptop. It does more than I even need it for. Everyday it gets better and better.

Glad I did not get a touch screen. Great product for office application.

VERY FAST LAPTOP ,WORKS WELL FOR WHAT I USE IT FOR !

Impressive computer speed,performance,and reliability with amazing sound from Harman Kardon speakers.Full HD screen is step above most other laptops available within same price range.

Very, very happy w this laptop. I teach- this is primarily for typing word docs, ppt presentations, saving photos, music- not a gamer. I am not great w computers, but I had no problem with using keytweak to reprogram the shift where my right pinky needs it to be. Wonderful deal- get this laptop!

The size and weight is great. The keyboard has appropriate spacing of keys. Unfortunately doesn't have a light. Pleased with purchase.

This computer is great for business, school, and overall work.

a friend asked me to find him something fast. didn't care about touchscreen, just speed and cost. this did the trick - very fast.
