I'm a student in software engineering and this laptop is exactly what I needed: a powerful processor, a lot of storage and memory space. I am impressed that it doesn't overheat and it makes minimal noises. This laptop is a little on the heavy side which I was surprised because there isn't a disk drive built-in. Sometimes the programs are not always quick to respond when opening, which is frustrating since I've only had this laptop for little over a month. Overall this laptop I'm satisfy with my purchase and would recommend this laptop to anyone who needs it for heavy computations and processing.

I like the look and feel of the computer. I plan to use it for my tax preparation business. This is my first touch screen and Lenovo does it well. The speed of the computer is outstanding. My only complaint is the sensitivity of its construction. I already have a cracked screen (it still works fine) from a small bump.

I purchased this laptop for my partner, a network data architect, and he has been able to load all of his required software onto this computer. Also, the features of this laptop are really impressive. For having an i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, SD card slot and upgraded graphics card, this was very affordable. Satisfied!

    Great computer so far!

Let me start by saying I gave it 4 stars because I've only had it for a few days so I haven't used everything yet. I bought a Yoga 3 11" but took it back because the onscreen keyboard wouldn't work when in full tablet mode and the screen was just way too small! I don't have any issues with my eyes but I wanted a computer to see! If I wanted such a small device I would stick with my iPad Mini. I think this computer is way more than I'll ever need and use but for the price why wouldn't I get what this one has to offer!?! I guess I could of saved $200 and got half of what I got now but why?? The screen is perfect and as I said before this is so much more than I'll ever need! In my opinion why get just enough to do what you want when you can get twice as much for so little money! I love it so far and I'm sure I'll be thankful I got this a year from now! One more thing is it is a 2 in 1 so just fold it back 300 degrees and now you have a super powerful tablet that is SO much bigger than your iPad! Get this computer I know you wont be sorry!!! Thanks Lenovo!

I was looking for a new work laptop with plenty of power while still be very portable; this Lenovo fits the bill! Plenty of power, batter life, and usability. I was not looking for a touch-screen capable laptop, but I've come to appreciate and even rely on the feature quite quickly. The only downside is the lack of an optical drive, but I already have an external DVD drive, and it's rare that I need to use. Highly recommended!

Unable to transfer my old hard drive programs into my new computer. Major problem in my opinion. Still have an aversion to Windows 10, really liked 7. 10 may be nice for youngsters, but those who like to work without APS 7 is a better product. Ran back to Best Buy 3 times to get my system working how I liked it. That's a 60 mils round trip. The computer is now working fine but now without effort.

    Disappointed

ive been hearing people raving about how great the Lenovo brand is and I wanted to give it a try. So for my first Lenovo laptop I decided to choose the edge 2 1580. When I got home boy was I disappointed when unboxing. They had forgotten to give me a power cord for my adapter! All that was inside was the laptop and an adapter cube. But I really wanted to give the laptop a chance. So I exchanged it for another box and made sure all the parts were inside. After playing with it for a day I realized how slow the computer was. But found the flexibility and touch screen of the laptop very useful since the keyboard itself was sticky and sometimes more difficult to use than touching the screen. I like to play music a lot. First let me say the speakers suck. It makes that radio fuzz noise if it can't handle the beat. And while listening to music I got an error screen that popped up. I thought to myself well this is weird it's brand new I wouldn't think i would have a problem on its first day. And it would restart but take 10min to come back up. I thought it'd happen only once but it's been a few times now. I'm not entirely too happy with the product. This time I'll probably return it. Only pros to this laptop is that it is touch screen and is flexible.

The only complaint I have so far is that the wireless internet seems to be abit spotty, meaning that without moving the laptop the connection will just drop, and need to be troubleshooted to quickly fix

This computer works great for my needs. It was a little hard to get used to the fact that is was touch screen (my first) but now that I'm used to it, I love it! Seems to be pretty fast and haven't had any problems with it so far.

I had to take my first one back due to the screen coming off of the housing. Turns out it was a bad batch. They got one that just came in on the truck, a new batch and it was fine. Seems to be working just fine so far. Battery is average. Nice screen. I like how it has rubber bumpers for when you open it up all the way so that it is only touch screen.

I bought this one over months ago after reading some good reviews, my experience so far has been good, it is running smooth and fast. I noticed that some negative reviews mentioned it has shutting down issue or screen turns dark and don't wake up. Yes, I have had the same issues sometimes, but after did online research, this issue has nothing to do with laptop, it is caused by windows 10, you have to do some fix that can be found from YouTube. I don't like win10, but have to learn to get used to it. overall, this laptop is very good, the sound quality is amazing and picture is sharp.

We went into Best Buy to purchase a Laptop for work. We have been using Apple products for the past 4 years so going back to a Windows PC was difficult. We looked at several products and they seemed to lack exactly what we needed. Then we saw this Lenovo, put it was more expensive then what we wanted to spend. There was an open box one that was just returned and refurbished. It was what we wanted. This is an easy computer to use (getting used to Windows over Mac, not so). It is sleek and thin and somewhat light weight. Gettting used to Windows 10, however, is another story. There is another of a change from the old windows we were used to, that I purchased the 3 year Geek Squad. They help me out with the parts of the program and computer that totally baflle me

Overall, the computer is satisfactory. The screen is fantastic and I love the big keyboard. I hate it when it goes slow but i think that's just a bad wifi connection. Haven't had it much but so far so good.

I have been using lenovo laptops for over 4 years running my at home business. These are reliable machines which is why I purchased this one. Lenovo support has been great and I like everything about this computer except the touchpad/mouse. It is extremely sensitive and I find myself shrinking or enlarging the screen at least once a day when I didn't intend to. Otherwise I love the computer. It's fast, the screen is really bright, the battery lasts so long even running so many programs like skype and pandora. I do like that you can flip the screen over and use the laptop in a "V" position and touch the screen. I don't use that much but it's cool to have.
