Needed a little upgrade, but worth the money...

A bit of bloatware comes standard but is not hard to remove. The biggest issue was it only came with 4Mb of RAM. This caused the machine to be EXTREMELY sluggish when doing even the simplest of tasks. Updraded by removing the 4Mb SODIMM and replacing with a 16Mb SODIMM, and now everything works smoothly! Definitely not a gaming rig, but with an inexpensive upgrade it can handle light multitasking...

The associate that tended to me (so sorry, the name escapes me right now) but he was wonderful and patient showing me the different monitors available, and giving the prices, especially the open box items. It hasn't been too long since I bought my Lenovo, but I'm very satisfied so far with the way it runs, and I'm in love with my huge monitor as well. It is still taking me some time to get use to it as it is bigger than my last one. So bright and vibrantly colored. Total Awesomeness. I didn't mind paying the $199 /year for the unlimited tech support that I will be able to enjoy. it's worth it to me, as just checking around for tech support, they're anywhere from $170+ per hour. No thank you. I'm just fine where I'm at for the time being. Thank you Best Buy for the positive experience.

Great General Purpose Computer

It comes with keyboard and mouse, but no webcam or monitor. It was easy to setup. We've had no problems steaming videos. Online free games work with no problems as well.

However there wasnt many available due to new technology. So we founf this one and its perfect with the right amount of storage as well

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaCentre 3 Desktop computer will boot from off to the Windows 10 Desktop Screen in less than 40-seconds. If you are getting slower boot times, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
