Great for wat kids using for, i would buy it again

Not bad for the price i paid for it...decent laptop

I bought this because I had a work emergency, and needed a cheap laptop to do some very simple web based things… This thing is SLOW. We are talkint 3-5 minutes to even open the web browser sometimes. Definitely do not recommend.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas so it would be easier for her in college and it was the perfect gift for her. She is really enjoying it. It does everything she needs it to do...

I got this laptop as a gift for my brother, he enjoyed it a lot and tells me the laptop runs great for doing school work related tasks.

I would like to share my experience with this model and point out its strengths and weaknesses right away, so whoever is looking at this notebook can make a decision whether it will suit them or not. This is definitely is not for everyone but it is capable enough to do basic operations so to say. Pros: - Very affordable, it is priced right and I am sure with sales, it will be even cheaper. - Light and easy to travel with - Crisp Screen resolution - Good Battery life - Good Audio Cons: - Due to its price tag very low specifications - Hard Drive Size is way to low even for Windows in S Mode - Screen size could be bigger, at least 15" - Not really upgradable RAM or Hard Drive - Maybe Slow at times I believe this notebook would be best for young students in school or elderly who just need to fire up the Internet browser and do basic surfing. Since this notebook ships with Windows in S mode, you can easily convert it to Windows 10 Home edition, however the issue will come up later when your 64Gb hard drive will start running out of space due to Windows Updates unfortunately. Each update will add to your storage and you will end up with an annoying message that you are running low on space. You can uninstall Microsoft 360 and some other programs or apps, however it simply won't be enough later. I think that is the only gripe I have with this notebook, other than that, it is a great notebook, initially all the apps and Chrome browser work swiftly. Surprisingly, its keyboard is pretty comfortable to type on and has good spacing between the keys. Its LCD screen is sharp and crisp, with HD resolution, however for older generation, I would think a 15" screen would have been better. My teens are eager to use this notebook for book reports and finding answers on the Internet as well as streaming YouTube videos and playing Spotify, the speakers are pretty good too. I think that age group will definitely benefit from this notebook thanks to its price.

It’s a Celeron with 4gb RAM and 64GB of storage—so I did not expect much. For a device like this, I would expect at least very basic computing such as word processing (and it’s great that this comes with a year of Office 365) and light browsing. Looking at it, it seems like a great computer—expect that there are some challenges in daily performance. It struggles at first, with even just basic browsing. In fact, I keep hitting a snag everytime I load a new site. Once a site loads, and I go back to it again (with data now stored in the cache), the pages load within reasonable time. Word processing and emailing are okay, as long as the applications used are browser-based after the apps have fully loaded the first time. Watching youtube, takes some wait and patience—so don’t think of this as a productivity machine—but more for simply having a device to use (versus none) for the mentioned tasks. Don’t think about gaming at all—maybe browser-based games—but definitely not Roblox. What’s surprising is, almost everything about the external hardware is great—with the exception that the power plug had to be an old school adapter in a world where USB-C charging is almost a requirement. But most of what you see is great for an entry-level machine. The full HD screen is decent, and the brightness is modest too even when used in a room full of windows. The keyboard is nicely-spaced and the feedback on clicks is great—which I think is consistent with Lenovo laptops. Overall it is light too and I think the narrow screen bezels help maximize the 14 display without adding bulk. The sound is not bad at all and the battery life—I ran it for 10 hours on battery with a youtube video on fullscreen before it drained. The clickpad is good too. What I noticed is, the lags in click and typing is not an issue with the hardware but more of the actual internal processing. For its price, I think it is decent, and this can be a great kitchen computer especially if you understand its capabilities and limitations.

Got ut for my grandson for Christmas. Very nice laptop. I had bought my other grandson one last year

use it for all my computer needs, works great can't install many apps but I don't have a need.

Caught this baby on sale and grabbed it quickly I love my Lenovo I hope I get the same results it's a early can't wait to give it to my bonus son.

Found this as an open box for under 100 dollars. Just use if for light MS office functions and it works like a charm.

Great laptop for many things especially for school.

Very slow speed; shuts off randomly and then we have to restart the whole computer. Junk!

Laptop is very slow. I am contemplating sending it back. Purchased webroot virus scan and it won’t install.

This was a Great Deal from Best Buy.I couldn't believe the Price and quality.This is why I shop Best Buy.

Laptop was as described. I gave the battery life a 4 star only because I haven’t use it regularly yet.
