Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the 3rd Lenovo I'd recently purchased to run a specific software program (the other 2 were 15.5" IdeaPads) and they run fine but this 14" has had a quirk that 2 sessions with Lenovo tech support hasn't resolved yet. It would be a nice entry level laptop for general web use and school, etc... but it's become problematic for my need. Should have went with the bigger brother.

He assured me that this would handle what I wanted better than another that I asked about which was actually more expensive. Upon setting up laptop I discovered that I could only download apps from the Microsoft store. I purchased this with the soul purpose of using one application only which the salesman assured me would work. Not true! I called Lenovo prior to returning it to BestBuy to see if I just was missing something. I was informed that in order to download the app I wanted I would need to uninstall S-Mode and then the system would allow me to install it however it would run slower. This laptop runs super slow as is so I opted out of making an irreversible change to the operating system and returned it to Best Buy. At the store, the salesperson assured me that even out of S-Mode the app would not work on this laptop. So beware of products with S-Mode.

I just needed a basic laptop to be able to tackle items and not rely on my work laptop. Fyi if you want to use apps outside of the Microsoft store, you have to remove Windows 11. Also the camera is a bit delayed.
