Not a gaming computer horrible battery life

First, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue by addressing any bugs impacting system performance. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
Also, the Lenovo LOQ allows you to change the computer’s thermal mode. This will allow your device to cycle between higher performance, battery life, or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Vantage app, then on the right-hand side of this display select the “Thermal Mode”, then choose “Performance” for enhanced speeds. You can also toggle thermal modes simply with the Fn+Q hotkey.

Great for low-stakes gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been wanting a gaming laptop for a while, and didn’t want to spend a bajillion dollars as I’m more of a visual-novels-and-occasionally-emulate-an-old-DS-game kind of gamer and not a 1000FPS e-sports kind of gamer. So while I can’t speak on how this laptop works for said 1000FPS e-sports, this IS a great laptop. The specs are really great for a budget laptop and it runs all of the crap I throw at it smoothly. I will say it only has a 3-ish hour battery life, which is inconvenient to say the least, even when just running simple work applications or visual novels. I assume it would be lower for higher performance gaming. Keep the charger nearby for sure. But good for my purposes.

I was originally looking at a different model but I ended up going with this one because it had a better price and better specs. I only play Warframe and other than that I use it for personal use, and it runs amazing!!

Really good for its price

I’m really happy with this purchase
