Unleashing Lightning Speed and Visual Elegance
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In an era where technology is synonymous with efficiency, this latest laptop on the market doesn’t just meet the standard; it sets a new benchmark. With a processor that zips through tasks at breakneck speeds, this laptop is a powerhouse of productivity. The storage not only offers ample space but also contributes to the machine’s swift performance, ensuring that load times are nearly non-existent. The visual display is a feast for the eyes, boasting a crisp, vibrant color palette that brings images to life. Whether you’re editing a high-resolution video or enjoying a cinematic experience, the screen’s high-definition clarity and wide color gamut ensure that every detail is sharp and saturated. The user interface is a testament to thoughtful design, offering a seamless experience that feels almost telepathic. Windows 11, with its fluid animations and intuitive navigation, complements the hardware’s finesse, making every interaction a delight. The Snap Layouts feature is particularly noteworthy, allowing users to organize their workspace with unparalleled ease. But it’s not just about speed and looks; the laptop is also a paragon of connectivity. With Wi-Fi 6E support, online endeavors are as smooth as silk, and the array of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, ensures that you’re never more than a cable away from expanding your capabilities. In terms of audio, the laptop doesn’t shy away from excellence. The Bowers and Watkins speakers deliver an auditory experience that’s both immersive and crystal clear, complementing the visual prowess with an equally impressive soundscape. The build quality is robust, yet the laptop has a svelte profile that makes it a breeze to carry around. The backlit keyboard is a joy to type on, with just the right amount of tactile feedback, and the precision touchpad responds to gestures with pinpoint accuracy. In conclusion, this laptop is not just a tool; it’s a statement—a testament to what modern technology can achieve. It’s a device that will not only cater to your demands but also inspire you to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

My third Lenovo YOGA and so far, the best.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third Lenovo YOGA 2-in-1. I have loved every YOGA I have purchased. The quality of the build is noticeable. The screen is gorgeous and the colors on this new OLED screen are amazing. They seem almost unreal they are so vivid. The only reason I sold my last YOGA and got this one was it was about five years old with an i5, 8 GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. This new computer with the OLED screen, Core Ultra 7, 16GB DDR5, and fast 1 TB SSD make this an amazing upgrade. All of this in a 2-in-1... just wow. I use this for personal use and work and just love it. If there was any complaint at all, I would say that this particular color does seem to show a lot of fingerprints. I caught this on sale as an open box and only paid $1,000. Still had original packaging in the box like they broke the seal and brought it back. Why? Who knows, but I am glad they did. I have had ZERO issues with this and have used it heavily since I purchased it a little over a week ago. Amazing deal in my opinion. I couldn't be happier with yet another quality Lenovo YOGA.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited for a new laptop, but so far upon getting use to it and its features, i opened note apps only for it to get stuck on touch pad mode I didn't do anything but open the app but it got stuck on touch pad mode so i closed the app and it was still stuck. Then the laptop kept shutting off, and everytime i turned it back on it turned off again, so confused all I did was open a note of app. Then when I finally got it to hold open after an hour it that issue I finally got into the settings to change the touch pad issue back to normal. Fast forward to 3 days use of this it kept randomly shutting off and on. Sometimes the batteries don't even hold long enough my surface pro 8 lasted me longer I'd use that 3 hours a day and only charge it after around 4-5 days on that same 3 hour usage. But this one has me charging it everytime I use it.

Not Sure Why I Expected Better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We used this device a little over a month before reviewing. To be fair the hardware of the Lenovo Yoga 9i is exceptionally good and it's weight/portability is very manageable. The screen is vibrant, the processing speed is also very good for our needs. However, the battery life drags the experience down quite a bit. If I had paid the MSRP, I would have returned within a week. For the price I did pay, I got a very good laptop with a ho-hum battery. I suppose I expected more from Lenovo/Intel/Microsoft regarding battery optimization/utilization. Coming from an older ARM device with literally all day performace, I wouldn't ask for the 9i to match, however, I wanted it to, at the very least, be competitive.

Posted .Hi OhMeOhMy, thanks for choosing Lenovo! Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, especially with the high-powered H series Ultra 7 processor, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend users utilize the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds. We're glad to hear that your Yoga 9i performs exceptionally well otherwise, and we appreciate you sharing your experience and feedback with us.

Don't expect blazing speed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery drain is very prominent. I had the system ON while I was working on my work laptop. Absolutely nothing playing or running (not on performance mode too) to see how much battery I will get. Trust me, in 3hrs I saw the battery go down 60% while doing nothing. I thought the spec is good enough to see some decent speed while opening and closing apps but my 7 year old hp Spectre x360 performs almost at the same level. The extra set of buttons on the right extreme does get annoying a lot as you will keep hitting the fingerprint button instead of the arrow keys. If you are a slow typer who looks at the keyboard for every stroke, this laptop should be fine. A huge fingerprint magnet! Not just the outer body, but also on the track pad. Check the stylus. It's the new slim pen. There are some drivers and apps that you need to install to make it work. Does not start working out of the box. At least mine did not. Build quality is good compared to Asus. Not flimsy. But with the Intel Ultra 7 processor, I was expecting something better. Total disappointment.

Outstanding
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenovo Yoga 9i is a sleek and powerful 2-in-1 laptop that's perfect for work, entertainment, and creativity. Its 14" 2.8K OLED touchscreen is stunning, offering vibrant colors and sharp details, great for watching movies or editing photos. The 360-degree hinge makes it versatile, easily switching between laptop and tablet modes. Performance is solid, handling multitasking and daily tasks smoothly. The battery life is decent, and the included stylus adds a nice touch for note-taking or drawing. The speakers deliver impressive sound, enhancing the overall experience. While it's a bit pricey and the fans can get loud under load, the Yoga 9i’s premium design and features make it worth considering for anyone needing a stylish, powerful, and flexible device.

How much frustration do you want in your life?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer feels solidly built, offers impressive speed, and delivers excellent video quality. However, it seems Lenovo overlooked some key aspects of product testing. Key Issues... Touchpad Sensitivity: The touchpad is overly sensitive. I've lost count of how many times I’ve accidentally opened a window or clicked a link just by moving the cursor. Its large size compounds the problem, making it easy to inadvertently rest a finger or part of your palm on it, which often triggers the four-finger swipe gesture that opens the “view all windows” mode. Unnecessary Buttons: There's a dedicated button for battery performance—why? It's poorly positioned directly below the "delete" key, reducing space for the "backspace" key. As a result, I unintentionally press the battery button about 20 times per hour. Correcting this requires pressing the button twice more to return to standard mode. Bloatware: It's like an all-you-can-eat buffet of bloatware. No, Lenovo, I don’t want to register for updates. No, McAfee, I don’t need your antivirus. And no, I don’t want to sync with countless services. Battery Life: Best Buy claims up to 10.5 hours of battery life, but in real-world use, it barely lasts 5 hours. Despite these frustrations, the computer’s overall build and performance suggest it has great potential. However, these issues highlight areas where Lenovo could significantly improve the user experience.

Posted .Hi, JohnH. We're sorry to hear that your Yoga 9i missed the mark for you in some respects. We have noted your feedback, and we would like to share some tips and information for insights in response. First, regarding the touchpad, you can adjust the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom of your Windows 11 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Making the touchpad less sensitive may correct the issues you have experienced. Regarding the mapped keys, including toggling system performance modes, this is to help users easily switch their system from its intelligent auto mode, to prioritizing battery life or performance. This could be helpful for you since the battery life you experienced was not sufficient. We hope that what's shared can be useful, and we appreciate you taking the time to detail your feedback and experience with us.

Good overall, but a bit laggy out of the box?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer is great. Although dirty and sweaty finger prints show easily, for some reason, it was slow using google chrome having multiple tabs open. Unsure why i was expecting it to be much faster and could handle a couple tabs open but it was laggy.

Posted .Hey, ChristianB, thank you for choosing Lenovo! With the performance your Yoga 9i was designed to deliver, it shouldn't be laggy, especially with just web browsing and minimal tabs. To try to resolve this, we recommend checking for and applying Windows updates. You can do so by opening Settings > Windows update > Check for updates. Also, repeat this process for the Lenovo Vantage app on your Yoga to check for BIOS and driver updates. To do so, open Vantage > select the Check for updates button. We are glad to hear that your Yoga has been otherwise good overall, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the color. The case seems to be scratch proof. I knew a pencil came with it but to also get a case was a surprise and saved me more money. The screen is beautiful. I think I should have bought a larger screen for my eyesight. There are a lot of functions that I’m not familiar with. I have used the copolit for school and it’s very convenient. So far I like my choice. The is my first Lenovo computer. I’m not sure I have the battery life set right but I havent paid a lot of attention to how long it last. I thought buying a 16GB meant faster boot up time but I can have a lot of folders open.

Premium Quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought as an open-box item but you would never know it. Even at that price I was nervous about spending so much on a windows computer (last laptop was a mac) but I have loved it from day one. It’s well built despite how versatile it is, sleek, and very portable -which is extremely important for my job and going back to school. I’ve had it over a month now and just appreciate it more every day.

Good but not the premium of the past
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 9i is a good laptop, but I wouldn't pay more than the $1050 I got it for. It doesn't feel as premium as the 2 year old 9i I'm replacing. I'm not sure if it has metal but it all feels like plastic. When I pick it up the bottom creaks. It has a great display with rich colors. It is a pleasure watching media. Heat and fan noise is minimal, although I haven't tried any games, but this isn't a gaming laptop. I am pleased with the purchase, for the price I paid.
