I had my original microwave for many many years, decided to upgrade and get a larger one ,this LG model. The food heats very evenly which I like .I like the large capacity because you could fit a larger dish or a bowl. It looks very expensive but it was approximately $250. I do own a LG washer and dryer, which is why I chose the LG microwave because I feel LG makes a great product.

Just kidding about the TOASTER thing...
We're still in our learning curve but its a great (5x5) device thus far. The first 'Smart Inverter' gizmo of our microwave lives.
Do read/understand the instructions ship'd w/the oven and do visit the online manual for additional instructions, tips and tricks.
Devices such as this one are only as good as those of us pushing the buttons. Micro on WAYNE, micro on GARTH...

This LG microwave is just what I was looking for. It is a wonderful size and the power is quite the upgrade from my previous microwave. Highly recommend.

This microwave works as expected. It is powerful enough to cook/heat items faster than the cooking/heating directions specify. The operator panel is easy to read and operates with no issues so far. LG generally manufactures excellent products and this unit appears to be of my anticipated quality.

Great microwave. Nice soft ring at the end.
The only problem is the time is the only thing lit up. Would have been better if the programming numbers were visible without turning the light on.

I'm loving this new microwave! I had to replace a Kenmore that we've had for almost ten years and I can certainly tell how the technology has advanced. The sensor cooking makes getting the food just right. The controls are easy to understand. I like that it won't let me start the cooking until it confirms that I have actually put food into the microwave.

This microwave has a child resistant latching mechanism, that would be difficult for a toddler to open. I selected this microwave specifically for that. Otherwise the unit operates as good as i expected.

Works as expected with a nice feature of going dark after usage; though a vampire current is unavoidable with this kind of feature. It is a bit larger than needed for the wattage which may be a problem with for tight installations. The biggest positive is the use of invertor technology which not only makes the microwave much lighter and easily maneuverable but also cooks more uniformly at lower power levels. You no longer have to struggle to clean the dust underneath the unit.
