Ever present beeps, that can't be turned off

We have the microwave for a couple of months. It works fine and it looks good. The only problem that we have had so far was the constant beeping. Every time you press a button, or when it stops or if you are not fast enough to get the heated food out it beeps and beeps! Extremely annoying. Called both BB and LG - there's no way to turn the beeps off, like one can do pretty much in any other microwave. I wish I knew that, I'd get a different model.

I LOVE the melt and soften features! Baking made easier

I have other LG appliances and this was the reason why I purchased this microwave. However, I was disappointed because of the discoloration. On the top there is a light streak going across the microwave. I requested a replacement. It has the same problem. In addition, the handle is lighter colored than the streak at top. The handle looks like plastic instead of stainless steel.
Understandably, this is frustrating. We are sorry that your units are not working properly. LG absolutely cares and we confidently stand behind our products. I can't give this microwave a fair review because I returned it before opening it. We ordered online & when it came, it was huge! It was way too big for our purposes.

This microwave is too loud .I bought as an open box and it did not seem to have ben used but from the moment I hooked it up it was very loud when using.

Good value but not good quality. Would not purchase it again. Buttons are hard to push and door seems fragile and afraid it will break. Feels cheaply made.

We have only used this microwave for 2 years - bought new from Best Buy in 2021. A few months ago the magnetron and a fuse went out and the unit stopped working. We had a repairman come to the house to fix it since our 1 year warranty was up. He replaced the parts and charged us $200. Today the microwave is not working, again. Sounds like the same part has blown. We will not be repairing again - or replacing with an LG product. We will be purchasing a new microwave, different brand and purchase the Geek Squad plan. If you do purchase this microwave, buy the 3 or 5 year plan or else you will be out hundreds of dollars repairing/replacing it in 2 years.

Looks good, functionality as expected. Put a cup of water in and turned it on for the first time, and it's really noisy. The fan is louder than I would expect, but the magnetron seems really loud. Measured sound with apple watch - 70 dB. Used it half a dozen times so far, still loud. Similar (old) Samsung microwave at home runs about 55 dB. Expected better from LG.

The microwave runs fine for the first two or three seconds then it makes a loud whining noise like something is wrong with the fan or motor. Then when it shuts off the fan continues to make a clicking noise while winding down. I bought the same microwave a short while back, and it lasted one day past the one year warranty. Several people, Even the store associate, told me I must’ve just got a bad one that LG is very one of the best so unfortunately I bought a second one just like my first one and it sounds like it’s gonna break down any minute. Don’t expect this one the last long either. Will never buy another LG product.

Considerably louder than our previous model from same manufacture. But it fits and it works well

Worst purchase ever! Stopped heating with less than two year use. Best Buy wasn’t much help with it either.

We had to get this specific microwave for our size of space. The overhead fan does not work well and we even bought a stove in same brand.
