    Display started going out 6 months into owning this microwave and just weeks over the 2 year point it died. I'll avoid LG products if this is the expected life span.

    Build quality is evident of an inexpensive model. It is very loud when running and the appliance as whole feels cheaply made. Three weeks after purchase, it is so obnoxiously loud, you can hear it buzzing throughout the house. It sounds like the magnetron is going to vibrate out the side of cabinet. I'm past the return window, but its going to end up on the curb as I can't tolerate the noise. It will wake up the family sleeping on the second floor. My last Whirlpool model I couldn't hear 5 feet away. That one lasted 38 months...37 months longer than this model.

    Handle came off door after a year and a half use because a small peice of plastic that holds it on broke. Technician said that part can't be ordered so would need to replace whole door which would cost more than the microwave itself. I wouldn't recommend buying it.
