Then when it shuts off the fan continues to make a clicking noise while winding down. I bought the same microwave a short while back, and it lasted one day past the one year warranty. Several people, Even the store associate, told me I must’ve just got a bad one that LG is very one of the best so unfortunately I bought a second one just like my first one and it sounds like it’s gonna break down any minute. Don’t expect this one the last long either. Will never buy another LG product.

However, I was disappointed because of the discoloration. On the top there is a light streak going across the microwave. I requested a replacement. It has the same problem. In addition, the handle is lighter colored than the streak at top. The handle looks like plastic instead of stainless steel.

Worst Microwave Ever.

A few months ago the magnetron and a fuse went out and the unit stopped working. We had a repairman come to the house to fix it since our 1 year warranty was up. He replaced the parts and charged us $200. Today the microwave is not working, again. Sounds like the same part has blown. We will not be repairing again - or replacing with an LG product. We will be purchasing a new microwave, different brand and purchase the Geek Squad plan. If you do purchase this microwave, buy the 3 or 5 year plan or else you will be out hundreds of dollars repairing/replacing it in 2 years.

Good price but poor quality

Put a cup of water in and turned it on for the first time, and it's really noisy. The fan is louder than I would expect, but the magnetron seems really loud. Measured sound with apple watch - 70 dB. Used it half a dozen times so far, still loud. Similar (old) Samsung microwave at home runs about 55 dB. Expected better from LG.
