This replaces a 3 year old microwave that had problem with door latch after 17 months and then again at 3 years. Door was too heavy .Like the LG better

Purchased all LG kitchen appliances. Microwave screen failed in less than 8 months. Horrific time trying to get BB out to fix the issue. First time they sent out an installer, no we are waiting on our next appointment. 4 months and counting. Not sure I would say avoid LG, hoping it was a fluke. Rest of the appliances seem good so far. Very good looking set in black stainless

We bought this as an open box as they were sold out of new ones. After getting it home and ready to install we realized the mounting screws were missing as we as receiving a manual for the wrong microwave. It was also missing the 2 vent filters as we were given one that was for a different microwave. It is also VERY LOUD when running, especially when it first starts. Would’ve returned it, however after spending so much time and hassle installing it without a template we kept it.

Would not recommend. Only reason giving 1 star is because no star is not an option, Makes a bizarre buzzing noise (loud) when running. Upon opening (sealed box) had to remove pieces of plastic film that were down in the fan. The buttons are frustratingly difficult to depress. I don't expect the the surface material to last long given the force with which we press to make the buttons work. On a positive note, it heats food and the outside surface wipes clean easily.

The microwave works ok, not easy to read the cook settings on function panel (wish it was lighted) for easy use.

excellent feature of 30 seconds add on but display panel doesn't light up so touch sensors cannot be seen readily

Slick & sleek style. Quiet. I had the older style before and decided to upgrade to new.

Replaced the same brand with a few extra features. Fits the space well and installers did a very efficient and clean install.

The employee that took care of us was awesome, she deserves to be recognized for her customer service.

Samsung fantastic stainless steel LG microwave matching the rest of my new appliance package

Completely disappointed with unit. Bought it to replace a previous model that died earlier than I expected but went with the newest model anyway because entire kitchen was LG. In the few years since I bought the previous model LMV1813, LG removed so much value from the current model LMV1831, that I am so dissatisfied with it, that I will never buy LG products again. LG's spec sheet and the photo BB use for the product show a properly illuminated keypad with a green clock. LG removed the keypad backlighting and the keypad is not illuminated. You cannot see the controls on the keypad without using a flashlight! LG also removed 75% of the mounting bracket supplied with the previous model making installation more prone to error. LG supplies a much smaller glass turntable than the previous model. LG provides 2 small filters with much less area than the one large filter on previous model. Seeing that LG removed as much value as they could from visible features, I dread to find out how much value they probably removed from the internal working parts. I cannot recommend that anyone purchase this inferior microwave.
