    Mine caught on fire

    My son put French fries in the microwave for 30 seconds and the microwave caught on fire. This is not repairable and I only had the microwave for less than 6 months. Prior to that, it worked fine.

    Worked for just over 2 years and then just quit working all the sudden with no cause as to why. Not receiving power yet power outlets still work fine so it’s something internal.

    The buttons on this are very hard to push. I may just use my old one even though it does not match. That’s how much I dislike this microwave.

    Less than 3 years old and does not heat

    The LG above the stove microwave does not heat anymore. LG options were to pay $345 for premium repair service -- a 90 warranty, or $245 for regular service with a 60-day warranty. Both options are more than I paid for the microwave. An appliance repair service will charge $99 for diagnosis only, plus parts and labor. Will never buy any LG products again.

    After 14 months we experienced the same issue with the touch panel and numbers as many other customers. It's a known product defect and LG refuses to make good on it. Sadly, eight months later we are having issues with the LG range we bought to go with the microwave. I'll never buy another LG appliance.

    The fan doesn’t seem to pull sufficiently enough for regular cooking which leaves lots of steam and condensation collecting in the front of the microwave. The install crew refused to take the old microwave away since “the truck is full” even though I paid for a haul away. Still waiting to be reached out to about this.

    The directions that come with the microwave aren’t very good. The installers didn’t take the time to explain everything on the microwave or the stove.
