After 3 weeks it stopped heating at all, although the lights, timer, fan, etc still functioned. I contacted LG and it will be almost 2 weeks before their authorized repairman can come out to see what is wrong with it. I’ll have to wait for a second appointment if they need to order a part. Maybe I got a bad unit, but I’m very disappointed with the product and the wait time for a warranty repair.

The range light is dim and lights a tiny area. The touch pads require a lot of pressure and repeated tries. The oven works. The carousel is noisy. If it weren't built in I'd have insisted on an exchange.

It looks as if there is a plastic cover on it, but that is apparently the way it is supposed to be. The bubbled and uneven panel makes a nice microwave look inexpensive. The second thing is the task light is extremely poor. There is only 1 30 watt bulb. I called LG and they told me that despite the fact that they say this microwave has both a cooktop light and a night light, in fact there is only a night light. I returned it for a different one.
