We purchased the LG 2.0 cu ft. countertop microwave after our old one went out. I wasn't too sure about the purchase at first, as I didn't like the small button on the side you had to push first before opening the door with the large button on the front. Fortunately, you can disable the side button. The microwave does a good job. We use it mostly for defrosting meat, cooking vegetables, and warming up other food. I would recommend this microwave.

This product was amazing, its great for when you need to warm up a lot. Theres plenty of room in it. Warms up our food fast and evenly.

I like this microwave, good value. Sleek and attractive for countertop. I also like the chime sound when cooking is complete. I'm still getting use to pressing side button AND the front button to open.

Pros: Nice microwave. Cooks well. Has safety latch so that children cannot easily open. Pretty easy to clean inside. Very easy to keep clean outside. Cons: outside numbers do not light up...hard to read and set...to the point of quite dissapointing for the price point. Setting timer requires well practiced double click. Child safety latch is going to be difficult for elderly or those with hand coordination and fingure issues to use. Truthfully I would have returned it if it had not been a gift for my wife. Better lower hassle choices are out there.

This microwave is HUGE and works so well. If I'm heating up...let's say 2 tv dinners? Plenty of room to fit them in and heats them almost perfectly. (Obviously, the recommended time is only for 1, so that's a dub!) I'm so happy we upgraded from our overly old microwave!

Works as advertised. Meets all of our needs. Great unit for a family home.
