Quiet and efficient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this dishwasher. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is unbelievably quiet. I will add that it works well—after reading reviews I was concerned about giving up my old heating-coil dw. With this, I have never had trouble with wet dishes after the cycle is complete, only the standard water caught in the tops of bowls. I shake out the water, leave the door open and it's gone soon. My plumber friend said that dishwashers with stainless interiors start to smell after a few months. Although I haven't had mine long enough to test this, I would recommend you rinse your dishes before they go in and buy interior cleaner if needed. I love the fact that you can do a half-load; the third rack really comes in handy, and all the tines are adjustable to fit your dish load. I bought a floor model and it was a great deal.

As quiet as advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We’ve had this dishwasher a year now. We have an open kitchen into the living area and needed a quiet machine. I can run this with no interference with tv or conversation. Very roomy. Love the extra top rack.

Love our new dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The main feature I wanted was to have both racks have adjustable tines. We looked around a lot and kept coming back to this LG. We were not really interested in the third rack, but now that we are using it I am so very happy we went with this model. It is great to put the serving spoons for an extra cleaning better than I would do in the sink. I think the only issue that I have is that it is difficult for some people to see the settings. The color pattern is not enough - so I had to put another strip to mark the various settings.

Great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is so quiet and works very well and hold ALOT of dishes. I love the third rack for utensils. The only small issue I have is that it finger prints pretty badly--but I knew that getting a stainless steel front!

Great dishwasher - no 'clean' notification?!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I am very happy with this dishwasher. I've had it a few months and it has worked great. It's nice and quiet, cleans the dishes, etc. My only complaint so far is that it doesn't have any sort of notification when the load is done, other than it's turned off. My old dishwasher that it replaced had a light indicated the load inside was clean, so we knew whether or not to unload and put away or keep loading (or run it). Disappointingly, this dishwasher has no such notification, so my 8 year old daughter has put dirty dishes in with the clean ones a few times not knowing it already was run and the dishes inside clean. Not a big deal, but it is a nice feature that I miss. Other than that, I do not have any complaints and am happy with the many great features.

Quietest dishwasher we've ever owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We replaced an older GE unit with the LG dishwasher, and it is an outstanding unit. It is so quiet, you don't even know its running if it is not draining water. The racks hold so much stuff, and, with the flexibility of them, you can clean all different sizes and shapes of items easily. And, of course, it has cleaned everything spot free the first three times we've used it.

Quiet as a mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoying this unit. It's very quiet and does an excellent job cleaning dishes. The flexibilities of different loading methods and the third rack make this a wonderful dishwasher.

Holy cannoli it's quiet!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I remember my first set of dishes that I washed with this machine. I looked at the instructions manual, pressed the combo of buttons to start the wash to clean as desired, closed the door, and waited. Lots of options, BTW. And so I waited some more. And waited. I thought, "Why in the world is this thing not working? It's new for Pete's sake!" I waited some more. Grew impatient. Then I pulled the handle to open and figure out what's going on. Holy cow, wait a minute! It was washing! Just ever so quietly! The dishes were wet and the cycle DID start! Talk about a quiet (and sneaky) dishwasher. And it did a fine job cleaning as well.

Great dishwasher--Installation fiasco
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the dishwasher as it is quiet and cleans the dishes very well. It also is easy to load and hold lots of dishes and dishes of various shapes. BE AWARE: when you buy a dishwasher you have to select SPECIAL installation as there is a charge for installing dishwashers. This was not clear when I ordered online so the dishwasher delivery was scheduled, they showed up, and promptly informed me they did not install. I was furious. I had to then schedule a separate time for installation and there was a hefty charge. I did finally go to the store and they did match the Home Depot installation which was half the price of Best Buy. They came to install and it took from 9 am to 4:15 to get it installed and two sets of installers. BE AWARE: Different types of dishwashers have different configurations of frames and some will fit more easily than others in your cabinet configuration. Don't just assume if the measurements are the same that it will easily fit. Call or visit the store to ask about these installation details so you don't have the installation nightmare I had.

Quietly efficient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controls on the door top edge, easy to program, low decibels (ultra quiet), chimes when done. Third top rack works great. Really gets the dishes clean. Easy to install yourself.

Easy Install, Quiet Running
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I purchased this as the first dishwasher we have ever had in ten years of marriage and couldn't be happier. I am not very handy of a person but can follow directions and online tutorial videos well. After watching some videos and reading through the installation directions, it took me about 3.5 hours to install the dishwasher including running new electrical, drilling holes in the cabinet for supply and drain lines, and all (simple) plumbing. Now that it's installed, we love how well it works. It is super quiet and cleans the dishes well. Couldn't be happier with the functionality of the dishwasher.

Very quiet and easy to load
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dishwasher is very quiet when running. There is an annoying blue light which is pretty bright and stays on while running. I just took a piece of black electrical tape and covered it. You can still see the light (dimly) through a second light which turns green when it's done. You can attach the sides to a cabinet on either side which is nice if you have a granite countertop and don't want to drill it. The top tray is very useful for loading odd shaped implements. The middle tray is a little awkward for loading glasses, maybe I just need to experiment more. Both the lower and middle tray tines are the most adjustable of any dishwasher we've ever had but it's a little tricky to get the dishes to stand up straight. The controls are flexible but not really intuitive, so we keep the manual nearby. The default from the factory is to have the spray for the middle tray set to light, which doesn't work at all. Now we just run the thing on heavy setting and it seems to work fine. If not for the blue light and the controls I would give it 5 stars.

LG dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG dishwasher is a very quiet dishwasher; however, I find it very hard to read the bottoms on the top. I had thought that they would light up when you turn on the dishwasher but they do not. I really like the top third slide out rack. Glasses do not seem to fit properly on the middle rack right side. My daughter has another brand dishwasher and states that she has the same problem. Does the job and gets the dishes clean.

Super quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are impressed with how quiet this dishwasher is. Our new home is very open concept, so I was worried about hearing the noise of the dishwasher. You hear nothing when this is running! Maybe the occasional gurgle in the sink from water draining. It is awesome. The stainless inside stays super clean. The third rack on top is great for odd ball serving pieces. My only complaint is that it rolls off the track occasionally. But maybe I pull a little hard/fast

Nice and Quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is so nice and quiet compared to our last. The only time I really notice it running is when it is draining. I've started it in the morning as my coffee pot is brewing and I could only hear the coffee pot. The adjustable rack seems pretty useless and the tines are all straight as opposed to being curved to give direction. Because they are straight, they don't really hold plates in place that well. Also our tall glasses fit just fine on one side but not the other. And the last negative thing is we have switched to liquid soap as the recommended pods don't always open.
