Requires pre washing to the point that you might as well not even have a dishwasher. If you don't pre wash really well, dishes will still be dirty. You can't use any powder to help with residue from our water, so dishes come out with a thick residue. Even with the mandatory use of a rinsing agent, dishes are still wet after a cycle. It smells terrible in there at all times, even right after it's been run. My old dish washer that came with the house actually worked better. It's quiet, that's the only good thing it can say about it. I will probably try to return it. One star is too many, but I couldn't leave it blank.

This dish washer has definately lived up to the billing. We are extremely pleased with it. It is super quiet and dishes come out very clean. We love the silverware tray. 2 negatives - a "regular cycle" is 2 hours and 19 minutes. I feel that is way long. And we cant seem to figure out how the wine glass (stemware) holders are supposed to work.

This dishwasher is so quiet that each time I turn it on I have to check to make sure it's running! Beautifully built! The only drawback is that we have had a difficult time figuring out the "tines" in the bottom and how to configure them to fit everything in. Other than that we love it!

My 10 year old dishwasher washed and dried better than this one and in a lot less time.

The stainless tub in the washer is always wet, the dishes are as well. Had a problem with tabs not full dissolving, but the washer is very quiet.

Loved the way it look. Easy to clean. Plenty of rage to store dishes, large, and small. A plus is the untensils shelf.

The installation went very well. The dishwasher is quiet when running.

Purchased a $900 dishwasher hoping to get more than 2 years of service. Won't empty water at times> After getting it checked, it needs a main circuit board with cost of $500. Called LG, but declined any repair assistance.

I wanted a dishwasher with a 3rd rack, and it was between this and the BOSCH 500 series. The Bosch was ugly, and hidden controls is not an option with a black dishwasher, so I settled for this LG. My original dishwasher came with my house... a whirlpool, "contractor special". My kitchen is next to my living room, so I would usually set s delay so I wouldn't have to listen to the dang thing while trying to watch TV. I thought it cleaned okay... but it did leave TONS of water spots all over my dishes. I thought that was life because of the hard NE Florida water. I've had this LG for about 2 weeks now, and I really like it. I like the half-load option so I can just clean a few dishes on half load instead of waiting on having enough for a full load. The dishwasher is VERY quiet. You really don't hear it at all unless you use the "heavy" setting, and even then, it's still very quiet. Dishes come out clean, and it's cleaning off the spots some of my dishes have had for years! My old dishwasher had a food grinder, and a heating coil. This one has neither... so you have to make sure you wipe or rinse off really large food particles #like full strings of spaghetti#. It dries pretty well. Glass and porcelain and most metal comes out completely dry... a few plastic bowls might have a few drops of water, I usually just give a good shake when I take them out. The dishwasher has tons of options for normal, heavy, light, delicate, half load, full load, heavy for half, light for the other half, high temperature, etc... My old dishwasher was "normal" every time... I do find myself using some of the other options with this dishwasher more often. I installed this dishwasher myself. Installation is very easy, and leveling is very easy because there are screws in the front to level the back. The power box is easy to get to and hook up, as is the fresh water hookup. The drain line was a little shorter than my old dishwasher, but I made it work. I was a little nervous because I did read some negative reviews after I ordered this dishwasher... but all in all, I am happy with my purchase. I made a good choice. It's quiet, and gets dishes clean. Only slightly negative thing I can say is the top rack has no sprayer arm under it. It has water from the top, and the sprayer arm that washes the middle rack will reach the top rack UNLESS you have very large items on the middle rack. This isn't a problem if you just have smaller items like drinking glasses and whatnot, but if you have several large pots on the middle rack, and have large spoons facing down on the top shelf, it may not clean them will. This is not an issue if you just have flatware on the top shelf because the top arm will clean those items fine regardless of whats on the middle shelf.

Dishwasher is good replacement for the kitchenaire that we replaced. The flashing blue light is too bright but minor. Racks all dishes well. Do dishes will gone and drys from internal fan

don't care for the 3rd rack. also our dishes don't fit well

ok but had issues with the install. Best Buy corrected it.

It is an ok dishwasher. I should of chosen a different one

was looking at dishwashers for quite some time. wanted something that worked with my stove and refrigerator. They are all different brands. I chose the LG brand because they also have a excellent warranty. Since its installation I have enjoyed very quite operations. I have only used the normal settings but, look forward to testing my other cleaning options.
