I needed a monitor for my home office on the days I work from home. Hooked up to a docking station. At work I have 2 x 22" monitor (one in landscape and one in portrait). Wanted a similar amount of desktop space to have multiple windows open. I was thinking 32" display and was trying to find a 4K TV that size since they tend to be cheaper. Saw this computer monitor for a good price and thought I'd see if it was sufficient. It is so sharp and large that I actually back off resolution to 2560 x1440 instead of the full 3840 x 2160 just to enlarge the window. I don't think a 4K TV would have allowed me to have adaptability that this gives me to size everything like I wanted. This one display is more functional than my 2 x 22" monitors at work. I'm finding myself working from home more often now.

I bought this is a gaming monitor for my Xbox One S, and to use in a few months with my Xbox One X. The 4K is great, and I'm excited that the freesync works with HDMI 2.0. The reviews online specifically say that freesync is only over DisplayPort, but the manual and LG support website specifically state that it works over HDMI. I love the monitor and would recommend it highly.

I need to upgrade LOL but this one is a vast improvement over the standard screen I do photography and wow it sure looks good almost to good your pictures may not come out as good as you see them on this device

I use this as a second display with my iMac (27" 2017) and it works very well. Out of the box the two monitors were a good bit different but with some tweaking and using a hardware calibration device they are "acceptably the same". Monitor is clear and has plenty of controls for color etc. The stand is sturdy and it has multiple connections. You can get better monitors but not without paying a good bit more.

The monitor is more than expected for the price range. I will have prefer if it comes with an USB hub and a digital audio output. I have it connected with the display port which makes a difference The image quality is great, .

Color accuracy and image quality is phenomenal. Works well with my MacBook Pro. This doesn't have a USB-C hub like the more recent 27UD88, but gets the job done. Use a USB-C to Displayport cable instead of an HDMI

The 4K UHD LG 27” monitor was an early Xmas gift for my 16 y o son. He has a custom built pc and content that’s 4K compatible: Wow what a difference having this monitor makes! It was a pricey, but it’s definitely worth it.

Bought this as an external monitor for my late '13 macbook pro retina which is my work machine. I was looking for resolution on par with the retina for thr tiny fonts i use in my unix terminals. This monitor is fantastic. No issues to date, plenty bright, though the retina goes brighter, and tiny fonts are super crisp.

The only reason I purchased this monitor was to use it with the new Xbox One X. While this monitor does not have HDR, it does have multi-sync, and the 4k picture is amazing. So far, I am very happy with this monitor.

The clarity, resolution and response time on this screen is outstanding. This screen will allow you to see the very best of any graphic up on the screens. Easy to put together once out of the box, clean design.

I bought this to use with my MAC laptop for working with photo editing and designing layouts. It has great picture/display quality and I love the large display.

I had purchased my first LG 4k monitor last year. I paired it with a 1080p monitor next to it but wasn't the same experience. I went ahead and bought 2 of the same. I can definitely view the difference!

Short Answer: The price was great. The 4K UHD screen image is amazing. The Big Story: I purchased two (2) LG - 27" IPS LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitors at Best Buy in Fullerton, CA. I had been looking at another product from Samsung but the specs of the LG monitor were much better. I use both LG monitors with a Microsoft Surface Pro utilizing the Mini DisplayPorts on the Microsoft Surface Dock. The best solution for 4K high resolution is to use Active Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables. The 4K UHD screen images are nothing short of beautiful. Video is clear and crisp. I should have purchases a third LG - 27" IPS LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitor while it was on sale. If the product returns to the sale pricing, I will buy another.

The picture quality is excellent. However, it would have been better if it did not use an external brick. All the Dell Ultrasharp monitors I have had use a generic three prong power cable and no brick.

This monitor is awesome. Very easy to setup. Works great with my PS4(not a pro version). Got a great deal also with the price match they do. Would definitely recommend for gaming or movie watching.

Had this monitor for a week and it has been amazed the picture quality is wonderful all my games look amazing on it

This monitor is great with no lag. I use it with my Dell XPS 15 laptop and it's awesome! 4K works really well with this monitor, and I like the OSD menus, very flexible to set to your taste.

Really nice resolution and color. It works well for me hooked to my Mac Book Pro. I am a professional photographer and I use it for my editing and post processing. Great addition to my work needs.

I bought this on clearance few weeks back for about $340. Think I saved around $60 or so. I do like the design, build and the fact that I can raise or lower the height of the monitor. The resolution is crystal clear. I do have a hard time viewing items that are not in 4K and not sure how I can switch without having to go through Display Setting.

I never realized how much desktop space I had until this 4k monitor. The picture quality is fantastic and paired with a freesync graphics card this thing is something else. No tearing at all!
